Not a good deal. The ps5 digital is £379. Minus £20 for the stand it comes with equals £359 compared to the pro at £700, nearly a 100% increase in price, and not a 100% increase in performance. Horrific deal. And no hall effect joysticks either
I don't own the Dragon Quest slime, but I've held one and I can tell you for certain: It's meant to just be a gimmicky shelf item. Like, I can't imagine actually playing anything with it, it would be so uncomfortable. Good video btw! I actually really like the Dreamcast controller; it looks awful in pictures but holding it feels nice on the back, and idk if you know this but the stick (due to the way it was made) doesn't get any drift. The only thing I do is I slap one of those thumb grip thingies to give me a softer texture and not the hard plastic Sega went with.
Thoughts of arson aside. The Nemisis system patent is faaaaar more broad than most people understand. The patent is for dynamicially created npcs remembering your actions. So like the holy grail of open world where a randomly generated npc who will remember your interactions is completely cut off from the industry until the patent runs out for WB, and god only knows if they'll renew that before it runs out in 2035.
Someone else commented a good breakdown of it. WB thing. LOTR Shadow games have & the upcoming Wonder Woman game will have it. Not sure what else does off the dome.
@@SparkE3i made it 361. I've got 6 360s. 1 red ring, 2 tray issues, and my 6th xbox 360 which is a slim and is a great console. The 360 library is vast. I'm 46, and was blown away when I played gta5 on the 360. Call of Duty 2. Geometry wars 2. San Francisco Driver. I've got a vast physical library which I've barely scratched. Fight Night 2004 is phenomena game outright and also a great example of Xbox backwards compatibility. Onpy certain xbox360s can play this game jowever. And as a suggestion to this video, I can recommend Bishi Bashi Special on the PlayStation with your friends. Have a few drinks, half an hour of fun for sure. Don't look it up in advance!
1. Thanks for the subscribe. You're a legend. Hope to see you during our live shows. 2. I feel you on the 360 amount. My first 360 was the Halo 3 360, red ring immediately. Got Elite instead. That one crapped out. Got another. Then got the slim that still works to this day. 3. 360 era was a heck of an era. Loved the generation before it. GameCube specifically is my favorite console ever. But man the amount of great games on the 360 is incredible. 4. Never stop collecting my man! Let's collect together! Cheers!
@@SparkE3 1. I hope so too and look forward to enjoying the discussions and content you and your friends make 2. The slim is a case of how to correct your mistakes. I'll definitely pick up another 1 or 2 for emergency back up in the future. 3. For me Gamecube = Resident Evil 4. That game 4. Collecting is so much fun when you have cash!! Otherwise it's roms. A drive or device with 50,000 games is great, but doesn't pull me to play like seeing the physical games. I said I'll stop at 100 discs. Then it became 200. Then I stopped counting. Then I said I'll stop once I run out of shelf space. My 6m shelf became full. So i started double stacking and it looked terribly unbeautiful. I need to stop at 360. I mean I'll still sell and collect, but I can't let the total ever exceed 360 because its genuinely enough to keep me entertained for the next 10 20 years. I only just started playing CODBlackOps2 last week!! I then installed it onto an Xbox One series S, played 2 missions and stopped (it has slow down glitching! Unbelievable) and went back to the 360 install which looks and feels perfect. Also collecting 360 controllers is another addiction. Thanks for taking the time to read my comments. See you guys soon
The budgets to revive any of these IPs would not be worth the return. PlayStation games are known for pretty graphics, if it's not cutting edge, why buy a PlayStation game. Fat Princess is a great game, but it's for a small audience. Ya'll are on point with these takes.
Pokemon Conquest is amazing, I love it, 100%-ed it like 4 times over. Best Pokemon game hands down. There is no greater item on my wishlist than a sequel.
It can be considered a masterpiece even with its flaws because of the artistic direction which is insane and this will to deliver true art. In my humble opinion.
It IS a masterpiece tbh but too bad the translation is absolutely trash and most people has no background knowlege of Journey to the West or Budhism or the Chinese Culture. 90% of the references either gets mistranslated or just goes right over the player's head. That's why people are giving it sub 7 scores... ignorance is bliss truly.
Using a linear scale to grade games in this day and age feels deliberately low effort. Like you can have games with great design and ideas that are so horribly monetized or terribly programmed that they're entirely impossible to play without tons of patches and fixes or feeding the game near infinite cash. And the opposite can be true of any of these metrics. With good performance but bad ideas, good monetization terrible performance, etc etc etc. It really feels like if you aren't using at least a simple matrix to grade videogames you're just ardently defending an old measurement standard that simply isn't useful anymore. Like measuring tire wheels by their diameter rather than their width, tread, PSI, etc.
So I did an Emperors follow up video. If I remember right this is what I did. Luffy: Fighting G2: Fighting/Fire G3: Fighting/Normal G4 BM: Fighting/Steel G4 SM: Fighting/Dragon G5: Fighting/Fairy I think that's right in the Emperors video I did.
Now the Bungie we knew & loved did technically die yes because I believe most went to form 343. However, I'll defend Destiny 1. That was a fun little era. Short, sweet, good vibes. I just personally think Activision really forced Bungie to do things they didn't want to do. And it reflected in Destiny 2. Least that's my opinion.
When i played competitive smash bros. there was a player in my local scene that use to enter tournaments with the gamecube keyboard controller. It was actually pretty cool to see him play using it.
The space orb controller isn't a trackball, it's weirder than than that. Basically the orb is your character. you pull up on it to jump, press down to crouch. Tilting it forwards, backwards and side to side is your movent/strafe. Twisting it side to side is turn and tilting it forward/backwards is look up and down. It's basically a really complicated joystick.
I get your guys point, but when has a remake ever one game of the year? I was just looking through past winners from some major ceremonies and couldn’t find any. A few were nominated sure, but none have won. My other thing is calling the new ff7 games remakes is a little disingenuous. Sure the first won said remake in the title, but let’s be real about the actual game. It’s clear they have very different expectations for the story and the gameplay is build from the ground up to be a 100% different experience. Saying they aren’t complete games feels like calling the OG god of war trilogy incomplete because each one ends setting up a sequel, each on starts directly after the last ended, and the three together complete a three act structure. The new ff7 series is following the same road map, the only difference being you didn’t know god of war 2 or 3 were coming.
I appreciate you for stopping by. You're a legend. But this may have to be a situation where we agree to disagree. Personally, I don't agree with your takes here. But I wouldn't say you're wrong. Just don't agree personally. I do understand and agree that the FF7 remake games are build from the ground up & giving the player and audience a new way to experience this legendary title. So it can feel like a different game entirely, with that I can totally understand why you'd say it can be a little disingenuous. Totally get it. My personal take on these games, at the end of the day it's a remake. No matter how you slice it. Sure it's a new way to experience the game in terms of gameplay. But it's core, it's DNA, is a remake of FF7 on the PS1. That's just my personal viewpoint on it. As for the comparison to God of War. I mean I get that FF7Rem to FF7Reb is a sequel yes. But it's 2 games that was once, a singular game. This trilogy, is a planned trilogy remake of a singular game. While God of War Trilogy, is a trilogy of 3 games that's one arching story. Same with Mass Effect. Same with Gears. Same with Halo. Same with soon to be Spider-Man. Same with any trilogy. Yeah they're all one story linking together, but they're different games and planned as different titles that each give them a unique feel. While again, the FF7 stuff, is at the end of the day... is remakes of a singular game. Now as for the first part of never winning one, while that's true. Just being nominated is just crappy. I mean I can understand why some do. But just feels like it takes away from devs doing anything new. Let's focus on making new games. Not remaking old great games. But, your take isn't wrong. Your valid feeling the way you do. But I wouldn't say our takes in this episode/video are necessarily wrong either. I think both are right depending on viewpoints. That's the beauty of opinions baby!
@@jtomally9681sGamingChannel Yeah but that's because they were around much longer. If dreamcast didn't die in the first year that it existed we could have had some amazing games I think.
I’m super surprised by your low subscriber count, this video’s presentation fit right in with other videos I’d watch from a channel with easily 10k. Keep up this effort!
The slime controller is pretty pimp. Not too bad for holding, definitely better than expected. They made like 3 editions. Ps2, ps4, and switch. Highly recommend checking out radica gamester controllers. They made some funky steering wheel controllers. Jogcon, which is my personal favorite. Or the holy grail, the ps1 analog joystick A perfect controller for mech and flight games. I believe technically the first analog controller for ps1 before the downsized.
Neat line up. At 4:37 it's usually pronounced "ass-key". Those are i's. I have Steel Battalion. It was a great product, despite being $200 at the time. The game was a bit... eh? Still, it's just cool to own and have. If the 2nd joy-stick had full 360 movement, it'd be damn near perfect.
D2 is dead and has been for a while even before lightfall. I bought final shape hoping it will reel me back in and the consensus of other people i played with was done with it. Its definitely not a game for new players i wouldn't recommend that new players to play d2 no point you will not have enough time to even catch up. Bungie , Destiny 2 Thank you enjoyed investing time and money but.... GAME OVER
Vaulting red war, curs of Osiris and warmind pissed me off, i paid for those expansions and the original d2 red war and they straight up robed whoever paid for them, plus sunsetting then unsunsetting weapons and gear also had a factor on why y stoped buying cotent because they are not even real expansions if they can vault it, all of this plus the hackers after crossover play in pvp like bru wtf
I always questioned that decision. D2 can be very overwhelming for new or returning players with the amount of content. So to a small degree I get it. But it's paid expansions you're taking. It's story, it's gear, etc. That alone doesn't allow that decision to make any sense and just creates a frustrating situation.
Yeah the final shape sold less than lightfall, which sucks, but also makes sense, because lightfall came out right after the witch queen, which was absolutely amazing, so people had high hopes and a bunch of hype for Lightfall, then it was dogshit and made a lot of people (including me and all my clanmates) to completely leave the game and killed all hype for The Final Shape
*Bungie* has been walking dead under Pete Parsons for at least a decade now. This could all have been avoided, had they planned the *_Destiny_* business model out well...
