I don't see the 2x7 label selection on the ebay print screen anymore. It just prints a tiny 4x6 version (1 by 1.5 in) now on that label. I tried other settings but everything else would be too big. Any other options? Thank you
No messing with paste, please, just get some classic hempfiber wrap it in the screw valleys and wrap the teflon on top. No more leaks. Hemp+paste = messy and leaky, teflon only also may leak, combination never leaks. For water only not for gasses.
I’m curious on why people put dope over the tape. I was always taught dope then Teflon. I’m not sure if there’s a difference or just how people get taught
Use LOCTITE Gewindedichtfaden 55 or Weiconlock 302-43 depending what you like more. Toss that Telfontape into the garbage. PTFE tape could be used for pneumatics, but there are so much better alternatives.
Very nice demonstration! When I learned the technique, I just got yelled at until I dang old did it. Your instruction style is deliberately patient-which is awesome for imparting knowledge to newbies and greenhorns. ❤
It works with gloves too! The important concept is holding the pencil nice and rigidly, then using the tip of another rigid finger as a reference guide to keep a consistent distance while dragging the pencil. In fact, gloves can sometimes make it easier depending on material!
Hey I had a question. I have this shirt and I don’t think it was ever washed. It doesn’t show signs of dry rot I don’t think and I’m not sure if I should wash it ? What are your thoughts would appreciate any advice you have to prevent dry rot.

You also say they sell for 50-75 You say they're in like new condition First thing you need is shoe trees, part of the packaging/how stores display them. Right now, from what I can see, I'd offer you 10 for them. Put in shoe trees and they'll look newer and it'll show that they're in LN, as you claim. How many pictures are there of them on the post?
@@Jimmykimball that's probably a good idea, I'd say mostly wrapping and wax paper but with the outer shell of the stuffing go with construction paper in a color that matches the interior of the shoes

FYI another indicator of an older Craftsman tool vs a more modern tool is the pointed A. The pointed A ended in the early 70's. There have been people who scrapped these Craftsman gearless ratchets because they thought they were broken.
It must be rare because most tools from the 30s bring nowhere that much. Many tools even though they're close to a hundred years old actually have little value because there's still so many around.
