Most people disagree with me but I think the right choice was to shoot Kenny. Kenny was becoming reckless and would lash out at everyone from Clem to Luke to sarita and he was a terrible leader. His decision to force Rebecca to travel right after giving birth killed her. If he didn’t make the group try and cross the lake then Luke wouldn’t have drowned. His lashing out forced Bonnie and mike to leave as well. Lastly he decided to attack Jane despite not knowing what happened to AJ, proving Jane right that Kenny was just too dangerous. Kenny wasn’t a bad guy but he was an unintentional villain. The only moment of clarity he has is after Clem shoots him and he realizes who he was becoming. If Kenny died at carvers camp or didn’t try to lead the group then I’m sure Rebecca and Luke wouldn’t have died and mike and Bonnie wouldn’t have left either. Most people empathize with Kenny because they also fail to control themselves and see their own faults. So it’s easier for them to blame everyone else for their actions. I’m not saying janes plan to expose Kenny was right but she was right about who he was becoming. I really wish Jane would’ve lived longer and got an ending the character deserved. The whole pregnancy and suicide thing was tragic but lazy writing.
