Those are oldy goldie videos man! Yeah you can use a salamander, but it is definitely not a good option anymore. The best low-level option is likely the warped scepter, which requires 62 magic. If your magic is lower than 62, then Iban's blast or fire bolt with chaos gauntlets.

It looks like the special attack of the toxic staff had no effect on the throwing axes, only justiciar did, despite being melee attacks. Normally they hit 15, justiciar brings the damage down, and the staff spec should too. Bug?
ive been thinking about doing this. wanted to see if any1 else did before i wasted my time. i only have 85 def im assuming your maxed due to the 99 prayer. think its sustainable at my def? i have 92 range and 90mage. i always have extra food and potion with 16 food and t1 armour
there is no way you play with your inventory that small and far away from the center of screen... 0.0 its crazy my guy... you know rune lite can fix that problem for you

Bro I can't see half of your items because you're recording in full screens I can't even see or know what 5 of thise items are ans wtf thrall is its been a long time since I played rs and wtf is blood fury? Please explain to me what all you got in your inventory and why not use a zammy hasta last time I remembered it was the best weapon for bandos but clearly it's changed back go whips and a dwh to lower defense but I think a BGS would be better for that since you can spec it 4 times now
Old school method with chins is probably the best with blood barrage mage switch (a simple 4 way) no coming from somebody that’s over 3.4k I know how to arma
your facecam is bigger than your fucking UI!!!!! thats some frustrating shit right there. inven slots are like 10 pixels wide how am i suppose to see what runes u are bringing
I play on full screen mode, which I know isn't as popular. You should bring blood, fire, cosmic, soul, and nature runes. Don't forget your book of darkness as well.
not helpful to watch and have no tiers of setups. alt routes. ways to get there. what you're doing during the fight. might as well be watching someone's twitch channel...awful guide.
I would add some itens usefull at barrows: granite chestplate(-22 magic), brimstone boots (+3magic and +5range), blessed spirit shield, void bottom( 0 ofensive but +30 in all defense categories). A black salamander may sound usefull but its faster to change the gear from inventory only than open another tab to change attack style. Low level players will not perform well with salamander because its dependent of your level.
Thats a good question. If you're on task the slayer helm is definitely worth using. The slayer helm also gives a nice +10 mage def bonus. I would try both for sure. Try Karils top/bot and a melee defense setup separately and see what you prefer.
