Welcome to "Back on the Snow" - the channel where two middle aged men in Illinois dive into vintage snowmobile adventures in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We're Joe and Ben, and our logo might remind you of the '80s, but we're all about the thrill of snow, no powdery stuff involved! Subscribe for snowmobile shenanigans and snowy trails. Get ready for some cool winter escapades!
This CAN be done with only 2 guys as well. Many years we did it with just the 2 of us. If you added a pully from the ceiling, you could maybe even do it by yourself.
It wasn't running and had been sitting for a while. On this channel we typically spend no more than $200 on our sleds. But I think we will be happy with this. Watch our channel for weekly updates as we fully restore it.
"This could be deadly, you could damage your face, teeth, eyes!! It could kill your garage baby in or garage cat or garage dog. So please do not do it.... But hey, if it works, it works! 👍."
Those grommets are worthless. They don’t last. A permanent fix is to tap the hole for a brass fitting. I’ve done many and they won’t ever leak again. The grommets are available from Polaris.
