Nigel bringing back super memories of the seasons of the past. And making it make sense a bit on how this came to be really. Got some good insight from this, and he brought me back w/some feel good reminders, and reasoning to the current debacle of how it may all get resolved. We have players other teams are looking at us like we're absolutely nuts not to play in the positions under right formations and playing well in their roles. Kudus is frustrated playing out of position. Lopetegui is never going to play him at his favorite positions so definitely kudus will be leaving West ham
It's because we have a level of expectation due to the quailty of players we have. I still believe we need the new players to have time to bed in. That's the main issue. Gulihmere will pay off big time. Tim Steidten usually buys players and it takes them near two years to pull off. Fulkrug will also pays off. People forget when we went through a big rebuild we couldn't string 3 passes together it was just long ball after long ball.
The problem for JLo is that the club themselves do not really believe in his Project. This is evident in the length of contract he was offered. It even intimates that he was not the first choice. Probably not the second either. If Terzic had left Dortmund a month earlier, he would have got the job. He is now available and how long d WH wait as he is likely to be attracting much interest.
Nigel, the hospital in Balaam Street was called Howard's Road Hospital. It was in Howard's Road. Many Hammers were born there, including me too in 1959. David Ames the murderer MP was born there too. So many good memories of that area.
I was born in Howards Road Hospital ( Plaistow Maternity ) it was down the end of Chesterton Road Plaistow not Balaam St , not far from St Mary’s Hospital, nearly every baby in the area was either born there or Forest Gate ⚒️
@joedellamura9015, I remember Plaistow Maternity, Chesterfield Road. Walked past it many times. But Howard's Road Hospital was an extension of it. It was along Balaam Street, over the Greenway (formerly called the Sewers!) and then third left into Howard's Road. My sister was born in Forest Gate Hospital. I also remember getting the best ever ice cream from the Dellamuras ice cream van when it stopped along Grange Road where I lived 👍
The actions of all in that fracas is less than sporting. Clearly a player can't punch an opponent. Nor violently slap one either. But the Spurs players actions were hardly manly, or sporting. None of the players come out of this with any credit. Perhaps my "sportsmanship" tinted glasses need an update for the modern era where the WSL players don't spend time rolling aroung pretending to be hurt. Are the women more manly or just better "sports"? Ridiculous situation in which appealling the charges may result in heavier punishment for the club and Kudus. I'm hoping this enforced change in starting personnel may find us stumbling onto a better solution to the problems we've been seeing. Fingers crossed.
Touching on kudus responding to people on social media was helpful to see how he’s feeling. But once you start doing that it’s not going to end well. Let’s hope he can take some time to cool off and come back more focused

Good round up as always. We are reaping the fruits of buying a player who has a bad injury record, and not signing Duran when we had the chance. Also our set piece play has dropped like a stone since we lost Warde-Prowse, who I think we should have kept.
Ward-Prowse was our main goal provider last season and took our free kicks and corners. We have looked very light-weight in that department this season.

Love hearing the thoughts, nice logical reasoning. Kudus was stupid not violent, the amount of acting which the FA never clamp down on is silly. As for Fullkrug, even when a player has no real history of injuries, when has it ever made sense to pay 20 plus million for a play over 30. Every time I think that West Ham can no longer surprise me with an act of stupidity, they always find a way.
