@chrissinclair8705 Thank you, I'm just happy I've got the bike back up and running, so I have a chance of getting the other half back out on a ride with me, lol. Duct tape is the boss when it comes to holding things together. Hope all is well at your end sir
@@electrocycle1977 No worrries brother, I'm about to put out a suspension extravagamza as soon as the parts float in from the Fukishima debris. I'm glad you got it working within normal parameters.
@chrissinclair8705 Ocean current report just in. Continuous, directed movement of seawater generated by a number of forces is moving your way, lol . Nah, all jokes aside, brother. I look forward to watching your next vid. Take care out there😎👍💯
@@electrocycle1977 Thanks brother, you keep your self safe now. Almost bought it a couple of times helping those kids across the road this week. I'm working as a crossing guard.
@Boogie.VanMan if you have an insta 360, you just go into your video, then go to stats, which looks like a box with a line going through it at an angle and that should bring up what your looking for. It's in the middle at the bottom of the screen. Hope this helps 😎👍
Hi mate i hve the same bike and want to convert into ebike. i want to install bafang 750 and 48v battery. I was checking on amazon they have different chainring sizes. so i m confused which one will fit my bike. can you tell me.
@taha3849 Hi mate, the bafang bbso2 is a really good choice, and I hope you have a tone of fun when you convert your carrera. The chainring i went with is a 42 tooth, which I feel is perfect for this bike as it gives you good top end speed and decent from a standing start. I hope this helps you out with your choice of chainring😎👍
@DPJ2367 cheers mate, I managed to get out before the weather decided to turn bad. Love taking the ebike off road, lol. Hope all is well at your end. Take care, buddy 😎👍💯
So how do you know what is coming from behind? Not exactly a bike friendly environment you ride in. I was made aware of the fact that in Vietnam that they have roads specifically for bikes and motorcycles which makes total sense since the big guy always wins.
@rufusirvin5279 Good question, and the answer, unfortunately, at the moment is that I'm turning my head and listening out for traffic behind me. Really, I should have stuck a pair of handlebar mirrors on the bike a long time ago. I'm going to get some asap. I'm sure by the next video you will see mirrors on the bike. And you're right about the big guy always winning. Thanks for watching and commenting 😎👍💯
The asi controller is about 4 inches in length and 3 inches in width. Powerful little thing taking my 1000w bbshd to 2800w on a 52v battery, and if I put a 72v battery on it, it will push it up to 3300w.
You should choose a not so busy route as all you can hear are car whizzing past and very close to you l was watching with one eye closed but still a good ride well done son xx
Yeah, it was a bit busy on this ride. Still enjoyed this ride it was in a place I've not been on the bike before. Still good fun, though. Thanks for watching and always supporting me, Dad. You're the man 💯😎👍
Another first rate video. Excellent ride and it's lovely to see the English countryside. I'm working on a video now about suspension on my X50, unfortunately, as you know the parts are floating with the Fukishima debris to damn well get here to Canada. I've got all the parts. I'm dialing it in just now and will give a full report on what spring rates, rebound settings that someone may use for me, I'm a fat f$ck at 200lbs at 5'9"(Hey I'm 54 give me a break. Lol). I'm sorry, but unfortunately ordering from the Orient is, how should I say this politely...errr...A little taxing at times. But I will help people out with how to install, setup, and dial in the rear suspension components. While I understand this may not be applicable to you it may be worth a look if you do get a bike with a rear suspension system. First rate video. Glad you're still rockin' the Newbowler. Cheers. First like, beat you to it biatches! Lol. Keep safe gentlemen.
@chrissinclair8705 You never fail to make me laugh, and that my friend is priceless to me. Your wit and sense of humour is absolute quality. Your patience in regards to waiting for your delivery from this magical place somewhere unknown to the human race is inspiring, sir. You never know. One day, I may just get a daul suspension ebike be rocking it, lol. Don't worry about size maye. I'm no matchstick myself, lol. Thank you for all the support. You're a top guy, and I wish you all the best. I look forward to the video you put out 😎👍💯
@chrissinclair8705 That's the dream, my friend. Really enjoyed filming that but had so much trouble with my old phone, so now I've gone and bought a 1TB one, and now I'm broke as a mf lol. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, sir. As always, thank you for the support it's truly appreciated 😎👍
@@electrocycle1977 No worries dude. Awesome video. First class. I punish the hell out of everything. It's great to see you "take it easy" wink, wink. Keep that rubber side on the road. Take care brother.
@fleapea81 I use an ASI controller on my bike, buddy. Stop using the stock controller a little while ago, but make no mistake. The stock controller is still well decent 👌
@@electrocycle1977 Yeah im about to buy a 1000w bafang - upgrading controller will have to come later, as long as im gettign simular performance to this vid im happy.
@fleapea81 For me, the bbshd has been outstanding, I think you'll find that the stock controller is really quite decent and will take you over 30 easily. Im sure you will enjoy the bbshd as much as I am. Take care😎👍
hello! I wanted to ask you how do you deal with flat tires?! I keep getting flats, i got my third one and i cant see any screw on the tire... anyone help?
@umi.1498 hi, sorry to hear you keep getting a flat tire. You have a few options. You should check the inside of the tire and if you feel anything sharp as this may be causing you this problem. The other options are to check out puncher resistant tires like the Schwalbe brand they have loads of different styles.
Great coaching job, and Emma did well. A spill is maybe a good part of the learning curve. At least she got right back on and finished the ride like a trooper. Cheers!
@grahambkk Thank you, I'm so impressed with Emma for getting back on the bike and carrying on. Hopefully, more rides out and about, and just maybe she might try mode 4. All the best 😎 👍
Nice ride out with your partner its all about gaining confidence we all have them little falls a few more rides and she'll be fine mate take care guys👍🏻
@DPJ2367 Thank you. It was great just to see the other half bounce back up after that fall and jump back the bike and just carry on. Appreciate the watch and comment. Take and all the best 😎 👍
We all do it, Last time I come off I was great full I had a full face MBT helmet on my head, lol, Great tip as well, A full face MTB helmet will help keep your face cold free when winter riding, But I have fallen off a few times, And I am pretty good on a bike, Brings me onto, I asked a local bike shop if they would do some work on a Bafang build, The bike shop asked me if it had a throttle, Then proceeded too almost shout at me, Saying it is illegal to have an E-bike with a throttle, Like how true is that?, I felt like some criminal, Just for asking if they fixed E-bikes, I had to say it is people like yourself that gets in the way of innovation, And it tells me that the E-bike world or E-bike shops do not like DIY motors, But then I don't like how bike shops can charge some one 2-3 grand for a bike that has a 250w motor an no throttle, When you can buy a pretty nice car for 2-3 grand, And the E-bikes that costs 12 grand with like 900wat hours, Only good thing is the motors, The bosh and shimano motors are extremely good motors, Metal gearing rather than nylon, But 12 grand for a mountain bike is just sinking the boat a bit too deep, If I was spending 12 grand on a bike, It would be a Yamaha MT09, Only coz it is a bad bike, And I would get 3-4 grand change back from the 12grand, lol, Hand built or what ever charging people all those grands for a mountain bike with a motor, Is what is wrong with society today I guess, How companies are allowed to charge crazy amounts of money for products that don't cost that much to produce, Probably why the DIY E-bike market is actually so popular, And Bafang making a mistake of having to buy the battery from Bafang to use a Bafang motor, Have put me off getting the BBSHD, Ans the newest BBS02, Is it only a 48v controller on the BBS02 now?, I am thinking of getting a Toseven DM01, The 1000w Toseven motor, It looks a lot more stealth then the Bafang when it is on the bike, And all thee Toseven reviews seem to be saying good things, I am going to get a hub motor for my Daughter and make her An E-bike by Xmas, I don't know if I will be able to though. I will try, How the cost of a bike goes up when a motor and battery it put on it is staggering, I hope Labour embraces E-bike world more, And builds lane ways for E-bikes, Also creating a UK line of E-bikes, And DIY motors, Let companies in the UK make batteries and DIY motors, I bet there is loads of people willing to start up E-bike companies, Most places here in Wales in now a 20 zone for cars when in a city surrounding, So make the E-bikes 20 mph, 20mph is not that bad of a speed on a bike, I hate it when people say the E-bikes are too fast, But if the person used all their power on a bike, They could do 30mph, With there legs, I seen a Racing bike blow past me, And I was going down a hill on my E-bike, And the racing bike still blew past me, lol, So yeah I think everyone should have an E-bike, It makes mee wonder how many cars is on the roads for the 1-2 mile journey to the shop, Or drive a car round the corner, If everyone who used a car for silly journeys used an E-bike instead, How much less traffic would be on the roads, There could even be an E-bike company that can cater for a Family of 4, Have an E-bike there ready for the Family, Create a space at the schools where kids bikes can be stored and then Families can do a school run using the E-bikes, Bit like Amsterdam but with motors on the bikes, lol, How many kids would prefer to go to school riding a bike, Plus it helps keep the children active.... Yeah I do hope Labour finds time to help the E-bike market and people using bikes instead of driving, And make the roads E-bike friendly, I really do, It would be great to see the UK embracing the E-bike world....
@mad-b264 A full-face helmet is safer, and I will have to look into that at some point." Great tip" I myself have been turned away from a bike and the guy was like we don't touch ebike in a very dismissive manor whichi felt was a bit rude to be honest but that's they're loss. Your spot on, especially the bit about people jumping in their car just going to the shops because i was one of them, but not anymore. Now I have a nice ride to the shops and will even go for a quick blast. Your point about bafang making you buy a battery only from is also valid, but that's only on the bafang 1000W M635 model, and I think they fluffed it up there, too. You can still pick up a 1000W bbshd and stick a 48v or 52v battery for that model. Feel free to check out the video I put up a while back, showing what I've put on my carrera vengeance. I've also been out on a cruise when some fella on a carbon fibre racer wearing at the gear. lol came flying past me. so I caught up with him just to see how fast he was actually going and believe me when I say he was going 34 on that thing and wasn't slowing down for nothing. In my opinion, the people in charge are only interested in making money, if you catch my drift. I mean, God forbid you getting around on ebike that has a little guts lol... for free and not a gas guzzlers. Thanks for the brilliant comment it's always appreciated. Take care and good luck on choosing and motor plus making a ebike for your kid 😎👍💯
Sometimes there are just too many things to think about at exactly the same time. We have learnt though that riding an ebike is not just like riding a bike.
@proffessorclueless I must say she was doing really well up until that point. The good thing is that it hasn't put her off, and she is looking forward to the next ride after I swap out that twist thorttle for a thumb throttle 😎👍
