Not everything we've purchased is an absolute winner so in some cases our videos will be about why you shouldn't buy it. Cobe and Amy have travelled extensively and worked as Sales Managers across many different product categories. Cobe is an avid golfer (addict really) and Amy is an avid cyclist outdoors and on Zwift. Their dog Noble is different to put it mildly. They got him at only 4 weeks of age so he sometimes acts more like a child than a dog. On this channel we will be reviewing a number of dog products. In some cases really putting them to the "Noble Test".

I just purchased this watch from a JPM dealer on eBay for $320. What an absolute gem for that price. Finishing is fantastic, gorgeous blue dial, and incredibly accurate. Hell of a watch for the money 💴

@@yb2112 Not all of the prices. I got a deal on the AD791 I bought because they were having a sale and the box wasn't perfect. The AD9s were on sale also. I almost bought one as well.
Peter Kotsa recently released a video on the best way to get your wife into watches. His opinion is to purchase a his and hers matching set. I wholeheartedly disagree. The best way is to purchase a watch that passes as jewelry like the watch in this video.

Great review !! I’m planning to take this same cruise in 12/2024. Do you have to get a Visa to go on shore of Vietnam and go into the city ? Or a US Passport is good enough? Thank you in advance.
@@kimhoang1687 Yes you need a Visa. Apply asap because we had a few issues getting ours and a few people we met on the cruise had issues also. It's not difficult to get but their website is really buggy. It's really just a cash grab to be honest.

We upgraded from the GoPro Hero 8 to the GoPro Hero 10 a couple of years ago so that we could get the front facing screen, and because of other improvements. Unfortunately, this past spring, while we were snorkeling it worked great, but when Mike jumped back into the water from the boat, some water got into the battery compartment and fried the camera. We've used it underwater before with great results, but this time was different. We ended up quickly buying the new GoPro Hero 12 just before we went on a trip out west. It sucked that we had to spend the money to get a new camera, but it seems to work quite well. I think if it weren't for the much higher price, we would have bought the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 as it looks really cool.
@@TakeTimeToTravel Yeah the Osmo Pocket 3 is awesome but we already own an excellent gimbal for our Mirrorless camera so it just didn't seem necessary. Sorry to hear about your Hero 10.

I’m close to pulling the trigger on this watch. It checks a whole lot of boxes. I’ve got several mechanicals, but want a nice grab and go that is accurate and well made, that I don’t have to adjust.
@@barryscott990 You won't be disappointed. I don't know what's in your collection but it's unlikely that you'll feel like the finish of this watch is lacking. There are a few different colours available but the dark blue is the most versatile by far.
I do not know if WISE is the best micro brand, but after a lot of research I believe WISE is the best value brand out there. And not only that, but I believe it is a magnificent brand no matter the price. I have only one of their watches, thinking about getting another one, but this affordable WISE Hitman I have runs around + or - 1 second a day constantly for almost a year, the finish and the lume are incredible. I have a such respect for this brand that I will probably buy another watch just because of that, contrary to how I feel about my Alpinist and Pan Europ with their cheap flaws and ripoff prices.

WOOHOO...that's great to be monetized now! We are definitely "slow travellers", but when we were working, we used to do short term travel. Our main goal is to never see snow again lol, so all of our planning is to escape winter. Maybe some day we'll settle down and find a home base again, but it probably won't be in Canada, and we're not ready to stop travelling yet.
I’m on a real Caribbean cruise right now and I’m really interested in the Omega watch but they’re telling me there’s no wiggle room to negotiate on the watch. I’ve ever bought that omega before and curious if you have any insight knowledge
@@roybatty4687 There was a lot more but unfortunately about 40 videos we shot on that trip got corrupted during file transfer and couldn't be recovered. We were beyond upset. I actually had wrist roll shots of the watches I liked the best as well.

I own a Stowa Partitio (white) which according to some is a field watch. I enjoy it greatly, but would place it more towards the dress spectrum. I also own a Citizen Chandler. That I truly see (and treat) as a field watch and serves as a beater. The fact is that generally the pilot and field style are just fine, but few are exciting to me, and some thay excite don't do so in the right way. My preferences lean towards dress-sports designs.
@@benjaminvis You and I definitely find similar watches appealing. This watch has basically become a bit of a daily beater for me. I wear it cycling or fishing because if it gets a little scratched up it doesn't hurt the look of it. That Stowa is a simple but refined timepiece. It's the case design that sets it apart.
@@WhyWeBuyIt I also enjoyed your video on Wise watches. I will soon have my experience to add. I went with the AD15 right from the design sheet (it may turn out to be too much, but perhaps I'll like that) and after seeing Peter Kotsa's video on the last bronze AD8 I permitted myself my 'second go' at the dive genre (I had admired the AD8 series until then, but his video effectively just sold it to me. I am also a sucker for a good moody green, though on Wise's website it looks a lot more warm and lovely than in Peter's video). I had them sent to a future address, so they're waiting for me there. The AD7's also appealed, but I felt unsure about the damascus steel. This enamel version (or the reddish brown) might be an excellent choice for me too. But now first I'll have to find out how the ones waiting for me will suit.
@@benjaminvis Amy loved the AD15. She was really trying to get me to buy it. If I wasn't as strict about my 6 watch limit, I would have. You will love the AD8. They are purpose built but also classy in appearance. True dress divers.
@@WhyWeBuyIt sounds very encouraging. I have no such strict limits, but know I would benefit from having them! I think my collecting is still firmly in an explorative state. I'd like to hone in qualitatively, but I'm not sure yet where that will lead me.
