I found this to be quite helpful - I have always shot in a regular GoPro but borrowed a friend's Max 360 for a work project and this walked me right through from start to finish!!
Great video! I follow the steps and have the GoPro connected through a wire and adaptor but still record the cockpit sound. Have you done any setting on the GoPro? Thanks!
I have a hard time taking something like this seriously when the belly of the plane is this dirty. If you are featuring that in your video, what kind of attention-to-detail can I expect in the product. My wife saw me laughing at this when I first saw it, she watched and said, "OMG, that belly is disgusting, and the front tire of that plane looks low too". She isn't a pilot and that stuck out at her. Seriously, I suggest that you look into a product like "Belly Soap" and clean that up before you go filming and trying to show your product. Tried posting a link to that here, but the post was deleted, so you can look up "aviation belly soap" and find it.
My audio doesn't seem to be working I don't know why. I have double checked each time to ensure I have plug it up correctly but always with the same result nothing. My Gopro Hero 5 seems to record the noise in the cockpit rather than headest audio. Any ideas?
Hello @RosarioPulvirenti71 Did you find out how to get the GoPro Hero 5 audio record the headset audio in the a/c? I am having the same issue with my GoPro
Thanks for video. Question on the 11. This model has a slide door and guessing you have to keep it open to plug in the audio cable? Or am I missing something?
Yes! Watch the video around 2:10. You can use any USB portable charger. It will still record, even while recording. Although USB ports that are used from the cigarette lighter power causes distortion in the sound.
@@FunPlacesToFly yes when I open it to watch it for editing purposes, when I moved the screen around to show the back view it literally looks like the ground is moving? Very wavy. When I moved it forward it stopped. Does this make since?
@@tnflygirl Yes. We've starting using Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Premiere Elements for editing, rather than GoPro Player video editing software. Much friendlier: For Adobe Premiere Elements look: at ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-W_S-VngyAfU.html For Adobe Premiere Pro look at: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GeYM2wQO3FU.html
Question - Going for my one and only in a lifetime hands on helicopter flight. The guy showed me what looked like a 1/4 inch phone plug, except it was stubby. Shorter than standard. What is it, can I buy a work around, and is it going to be an issue. Great video, you make it look so easy.
Hmmm... Hadn't heard of that. Check out these links: (Google "U-174 NATO/Military to Civilian Wiring"... maybe?). I read that the stubby is an all-in-one plug - mic and sound. This might help: www.amazon.com/GA-Headset-to-Helicopter-Adapter/dp/B09CGSB9XX/ Good luck!
