Thanks for uploading! 1 tip that I saw or read somewhere is you want to give it a bit of context, so for the example where you tried to change the TV that was off to show something, I believe it would work better if you over selected, and included some of the wall in the back, I think if you did that, you wouldn't get a tv in a tv
Now I see all your shots were labeled main floor so I guess that was your choice instead of using the default names as I have uploaded tours as I was leaving the house on my cell connection, and they had the names that I gave them from the default choices.
You do have the option to label the panos as you are shooting the tour. It really comes down to personal preference when shooting the tour I justified it a bit more efficient to label the images when I get back to my desk
I discovered I bought the wrong version of TouchRetouch, this one was called Retouch. So just now I bought TouchRetouch. Now it's the correct version! Thanks for your help!
I just bought a new Macbook Pro and reordered the TouchRetouch app but it's missing White Balance, Tone and Color. Do you know if they changed the interface, it's just showing line removal, quick erase, object removal and clone stamp? Can't get ahold of them either!

This is the best tutorial I’ve ever seen. Thank you for your work! I have a question, instead of editing/adding arrows after the tour is finished, is there any easy way or shooting technique to follow so that the algorithm can make these room connections automatically and thus will minimize post processing? Thank you
In theory if you kept the camera facing the same direction throughout the entire capturing of the home this could improve the auto linking. I do not mind the little bit of post as I like to lay eyes on the tour prior to publishing the tour. Rotating the camera can also help balance lighting & reduce lens flares (lens flares are less of an issue on the Z1 but, the "red dot" lens flares can be really distracting on the V or SC2)
For a zillow 3D home tour as long as you have a Zillow account (just your email address for saving properties) you can shoot Zillow 3D home tours. Then once shot and uploaded you can add the address which will connect it to the Zillow listing
Hi Capture NW, My name is Sam Dorfman. I am creating a RU-vid channel on how to to view and use but not especially create various 360 models. (360 virtual home tours by Sam) I just finished a playlist on viewing Matterport using my own models. I was going use Zillow's sample Zillow 3D Home Tour for my next playlist but for some reason they took it down. I was wondering if I could use your model from this video. I already have the URL. My approach is from the point of view of the person viewing the video on how to navigate intelligently. Of course I will give you full credit for the model.

Hi there. This is the second time I've seen this method outlined, but I'm struggling with it. I'm familiar with all the tools you use, but have never worked in the 3D environment before, so this seems to be the only difference, yet as soon as I try *any* of the tools to cover the tripod (content aware fill, healing brush, clone stamp, patch) the repaired area comes up really dark. All settings appear to be as normal and work fine in the normal 2D environment. Any guesses as to what might be happening?
Belovephotos I am using the Z1 ~ I own a V but, I prefer the imagery out of the Z1. I liked the Z1 so, much I picked up a second one & they have both more than paid for them self’s

Question. I’m a photographer also and when I share the 3D tours it shows me as created by. Even when I add the agent as a user. I can’t find an answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. 😁
For Zillow you are the creator ~ though this has been bouncing back and forth once the listing is live. Sometimes it just shows the listing agent and other times it will show you as the photographer
Capture NW yes I noticed that. I touch the photo it doesn’t link to me. Or go anywhere. But I saw a video tutorial where he said it would. So when agents use photographers it will show them as the creator??
This is still in flux. Sometimes I show up as the tour creator though sometimes it shows up as the agent. I wish I had a simple answer for you but, Zillow is still working their way through this
Gr8 tutorial! Once you publish and get a link to share, can you edit the tour and keep the link, or when you edit after publishing, you will get a new link to share?
You can edit connection points but, if you are looking to add any Panos you must create a new tour. If you just edit connection points the link remains the same
Thank you for this video! Question, is there a way to set the view on the connection arrow? I have set the view on the actual photo itself but the connection arrow when pushed show a completely different view. Any advice would be appreciated!
So, next to the edit arrow you have the option to set the default view for the Pano that you are on unfortunately you cannot set a default view for multiple directions currently it only works as a general default view. Hope that helps.
cherylt within Zillow’s 3D home tours app all camera settings are handled by the app. In short it is simply point & shoot. This will be true of the Theta V or Theta Z1
