After working on fabric covered planes for several years, I've developed many tips and tricks to make fabric work quicker and cleaner. This channel will have videos featuring some of these tips along with parts covered start to finish.
I have been using your videos in my Aeronautics Airframe Structures class. My students, who are A&P eligible, are asking if you still work in the industry?
Firstly, thank you. When you uploaded this video, did you guess that it would be educational for someone who wants to do the same thing on the other side of the world, in Turkey? I watched it many times, liked it and subscribed. I hope I can support you. You deserve to be proud. I want to ask you a few things I don't know. Did I get right? Is the material used knitted glass fiber fabric and polyester? Also, what is the use of ironing?
You seem to be very good at what you do. Maybe you'd want to share some of what you've learned with newbies like myself who are blindly feeling their way through the process. Good work!
Hi, nice job, it seems like you'r covering Kitfox. Could you please tell how much materials does it takes? I'm intereted, since I'm going to build one soon
My god, that's a lot of detailed work.. excellent job.. hope it's still flying and that it's all held together well since it appears this video is now a couple years old..
This very hard working young lady must have done this several times before. It really looks like shes a pro and very pleasing to see such a young person taking such pride and working so hard at a task. Well done!! Be proud as well you should be!
Wow, that was so amazingly cool, I was mesmerized by Her skill. By no means close to any comparison but I have two old Greatplanes CE II 1/3 scale 50cc gas models I have crashed a few times over the years and have lovingly rebuilt and recovered over the years so this is neat watching the real thing. EDIT: I just subscribed !!!!!!!!
Nicely done! What's the purpose of the additional strips. Is it just to provide additional strength of the covering at the contact points? Also what was the coating at the end?
