awesome touching amazing story I found Rocky limping and begging for food in a parking lot...he came to me and was so happy to see and interact with me. he had a really displaced hind leg and could hardly walk for any lenth. Since hes just a pup...i decided to help and took to have his leg looked at. i opted to remove his leg. he is healing as i write this text. Im not sure what comesnext as i am Social Security and barely can feed myself. But i know hes grateful.
He's such a good boy! That is one of my favorite throwback video of 2024, and I'm still watching it! 🤣 I miss Wyatt... 😥I've wish to get a German Shepherd.🥰 Most German Shepherds are VERY adventurous!

Thanks for posting this video! This has definitely been the most supportive harness for my rear leg tripawd, however it's hard to me to get on him. If there were clips for both front legs, this would be the perfect harness. He doesn't have enough strength or confidence to lift his leg up to get through, so I have to put it on when he's laying down (which can be a problem when he's up and ready to go!). Do you have any additional tips for getting that front leg through, or know of products or attachments that have come out since you posted this? Thanks again! <3
You can have your dog sit when putting on the Web Master. Or, consider the Flagline harness. It has four clips and can be put on over the head without lifting any leg! gear.tripawds.com/product/ruffwear-flagline-harness/
thanks so much this blows my mind... my little dog had a stroke last year and he still drags his front left paw which leaves a scrape on top... i trying so many things... i notice his shoulder twitching but doesnt seem in pain... last couple of weeks we been using a beurer TENS/EMS unit (i brought at a charity shop $15 and replaced with new electrodes)... in the morning when we relax on the couch and watch utube i wrap the electrode around his paw and set it to massage/tapping/level30 (which is high when i tested it on myself but hes ok and is not bothered) for 20mins... he is doing so much better... back to zoomies on grass and beach(sand not shells)... the scrape on his paw is less as well... next i will be trying his back left leg next which flicks out... i appreciate your videos so much because at times we feel so alone and your videos are so supportive... anyways i like to know if anyone has tired a TENS unit and if so what where their results? woof woof from PEKAPEKA its his 3rd birthday this week. we are hoping for a full/semi recovery
Hey there, just saw your comment. Glad you found this helpful! We have in fact also used a TENS unit on our previous shepherd, at the advice of his rehab therapist. We believe he did feel relief from the chronic pain of being an older Tripawd with osteoarthritis. I wouldn't use one without direction from a therapist just in case the electrodes can be placed in a more effective area. Glad your dog is still doing well!
Thanks for asking! This is a Burley XL. Our dog Nellie is 65 pounds but she's pretty long. The XL gives her lots of room to maneuver inside. Whatever you do don't go too short. We made the mistake of buying a shorter stroller from a different brand before this one, and she pressed on the back end so much that she eventually wore out the fabric and zipper so it no longer closed. More space is better in the long run. Good luck!
Thanks so much! Ordered the XL tonight. We have a Boxer who is 8 months and already 55 lbs. We ordered the Burley Trip Wagon and it was too small. Appreciate your video! @@tripawds
Hi there! I got here the XL and she is totally comfortable in it, with plenty of room. In her previous strollers of a different brand, both size Lg, her butt hit the back and eventually tore the fabric. Not this one, plenty of room in the XL. See our Tripawds news blog for more Burley experiences we've had, tripawds.com/tag/burley
WE started Blue right after he was flown to us from texas to canada .. I took him in to a REHAB for an evaluation to see what we could do for a successful healing of his amputation and building strength in his hip.. spine and good leg
My 16 yr old cat is getting his leg amputated tomorrow. I’m so nervous for him. He definitely is very energetic and doesn’t act like a 16 yr old. He has a fracture and it’s either amputation or some metal pins that would cost about 5000.
@@tripawds She looks like she's one happy Girl ! (hey, don't forget to pick up your bandanas....you were right, they arrived really early!!! on the 13th ...lemme know)
Such a great and happy looking dog, unfortenally texas is to far away and my own tripawd Belka keeps me busy enough, you would think that a 3 legged dog saves you 25% on walking but if it was up to mine we would walk all day long. I hope he finds a home soon. Thanks for your good work, through people like you i got my amazing dog.
My dog shattered his femur just three days ago. Same leg as the dog in this video. Vet said, the damage is so severe it might have to be amputated. He's calling other vets to see if any can operate. So far none can help. If Goofy is about to become a "Tripawd" (never heard that term), this video made me realize he can still play and enjoy life. Thanks for that. :)
Mine got ran over by a truck last week and her back right leg got amputated today. I know you posted your comment 6 months ago but I hope yours is doing good, I can’t wait for my tripawd to come home!
Great question @@cindiott6728. We are distance runners and have used it during training runs in our rural Alaska location right now. It strolls like a dream, is super light even with our GSD inside, and does better than most on uneven hard-packed dirt.
@@tripawds great! Thank you! I have a Siberian who has epilepsy, she likes to go, but she has limitations, as too much can cause an episode. Her sister likes to go go go! And has had to do Annie speed and lots of walks which is fine, but we all would benefit from getting back to running. Daddy, rides his bike and we generally meet up, then he runs Robin with his bike a bit. Look forward to getting back to a more consistent run schedule. I/we truly missing it. Thanks again, this is securing our decision, especially with the ski option!
You betcha@@cindiott6728 ! I think you, daddy, and the pups will love it. Our Tripawds News blog will have a full review of the Ski Kit next week so your timing is perfect. Be sure to subscribe via our website for the post. The stroller is so versatile. In fact yesterday we did canicross on a frozen lake with Nellie in the Bark Ranger, me in the harness, and a neighbor's sled dog out in front! It was a blast!
