I’m rewatching the River Wild with Meryl Streep and Kevin Bacon right now. Awesome movie. There’s a 3rd guy on Bacon and John C Riley’s raft at the beginning of the movie. You barely get a look at him. But he has one line. And I’d recognize that voice anywhere!!!! It’s none other than our man Piney. RIP William Lucking. What an extraordinary life you led.

Loved the initial bond that Opie and Jax had but eventually Jax changed, he got to the top and lost control. He eventually became unrecognizable meanwhile Ope was still Ope except his allegiance and priorities shifted to the club instead of his kid but he was still a man of loyalty at the end. It’s why his character resonates the most to me.
