Michael has been producing documentary films since since he was 13 years old. At age 14, he received acclaim for Communities Along the James in the Richmond Magazine article “Engaging History.” He has been endorsed for his work by the noted documentarian Ken Burns, historian and broadcaster Michael Wood, and author and historian, Ed Ayers. He has written for the Goochland County Historical Society Magazine, a research journal, and served as an executive officer of the Goochland VA250 Commission since 2023.
