He’s combat smart and has some philosopher views, buts is literally retarded. I like Kakashi but he really doesn't know anything about revenge. After all he inadvertently team killed most of his friends so who was he going to get revenge on? Himself? It just doesn't work. This was the one conversation that could have made Sasuke stay in the village and he blew it.
Kakashi had just as much of a reason to hate the village as Sasuke would later have seeing as they drove his father to suicide in a way he went through with his revenge by being a hard ass to his team which from his mindset is what lead to the death of obito point is he understands how it feels like to lose everything which is why he ended it with "at least we found new comrades to help fill the void"

I wouldn’t take Obito’s words too seriously. He was a teenage boy who was isolated and groomed by Madara. He’s like Anakin where he had a very naive and childlike worldview that became corrupted and twisted. This combined with his obsession with Rin who later died was a recipe for disaster.
Do not forget that he is an Uchiha. And the love of the Uchiha`s is much stronger than that of ordinary people. And when they lose it, they are consumed by hatred. Therefore, Obito was just unlucky that at the right time he did not have someone like Naruto by his side who could support him. And there was just the same person next to him, filled with despair (Madara). Therefore, everything that he saw in front of him next, he saw through the prism of despair, emphasizing the bad and considering all the good insignificant. Madara only gave him the power to change the world that Obito considered hell. And Obito's behavior is actually quite realistic. Falling into a pit of despair and pain is much easier than climbing out of it. And when everything around you convinces you that you're right, all people like Naruto will seem stupid to you. Both Obito and Naruto are right in their own way, the only difference is that they look at the world from different angles. Obito focuses on all the bad things that people do, so it seems to him that the world is not worth living in, because it is not perfect at all. He's kind of a Nihilist. And if you think about it, why live in a world where wars are taking place, people are dying, people are lying to each other, causing a lot of pain, etc. Naruto also focuses on all the good things that happen in life. They're both right.

Itachi literally embodied what it meant to be a true Shinobi. He studied history and foresaw the future. He wasn’t just strong and intelligent but extremely wise. He wasn’t perfect but flawed and that is what made him human. All he did was for the Leaf and in return accepted everyone’s hatred without ever complaining. Itachi was a true Shadow Hokage.
It's even crazier when you realize how old he was. I think he was roughly 22 when he died. And it was stated that when he was still a child he had the wisdom of a kage
Amen. He is a true Hero. One who shoulders an extreme burden, even while it hurts the one he holds most dear. He is not doing it for any kind of recognition, but because he firmly stands for noble ideals which he sacrifices every ounce of his being for. Many people judge Sasuke for being an edgy avenger after he realizes what his brother had gone through for the leaf, but let's be real: This isn't a kind of Trauma one can be expected to just process without flying of the handle for at least a while
It wasn't just for the Leaf, it was for the peace of the world itself. Even acknowledging himself as a Leaf shinobi would be an entitlement that they are somehow uniquely more deserving of peace than every other nation. What Itachi strove for wasn't just for the Leaf village I imagine, but that would be a small step in eventually reaching prosperity for everyone. But that would have been a lofty goal at best, so he wanted to start where he could. Not even with the Leaf village but his own clan, to see if he could convince them somehow not to wage a coup, but they were so prideful about their prior standing as "equal forces" to the Leaf that they always saw themselves as separate from it. The Uchiha couldn't acknowledge themselves as a part of the village (not that Danzo, Hirusen, the second hokage, or the village elders helped...) because of their pride, and that pride would have resulted in yet another great ninja war as a fractured leaf village would surely be seized upon by rival nations. itachi was right, if he had worked with Sasuke when Sasuke was a kid maybe things could have been different. Maybe Fugaku and the rest of the Uchiha could have seen the potential of their children becoming an accepted part of the Leaf and changing how the Leaf saw the Uchiha. Who knows
