Hi everyone Liam here of LJ Scale Models - two (2) years back at the hobby. Building a variety of aircraft and amour, not too sure what my nice is, its still early days, however, really enjoying building what I have on my hobby desk. I'm just trying to be a better modeller trying new and different methods of painting and weathering. Thanks for looking in and don't forget to leave a comment - good or bad :). Cheers Liam
That's a nice build Liam, I think that I overdid the weathering on my Tamiya Cromwell, I used buff paint well thinned but the more I look at it. the more it looks okay. We are learning all the time and learn by making mistakes, next time it will be better, cheers mate.
Nice kit Liam, all the way from Memphis , sorry Honk Kong, I'm a Mott The Hoople fan, I get carried away sometimes! The kit looks great by the way, the included photoetch and the metal turned gun barrel should make this a great build as all the parts are included, cheers, Steve.
Hi Liam, nice to see you back, the hobby room looks great. You have no excuses now as you can readily get paints and materials now that you are home, lol.
Really nice build and paint scheme! I'm glad you kept the vinyl tracks and showed how good they can look with proper painting and weathering. I really HATE plastic tracks....ha ha! Subscribed!
Hi Liam, the cockpit looks great to me. I tried Tamiya aluminium and it wouldn't spray through a 0.3 nozzle, I now have an airbrush with a 0.5 nozzle but haven't tried it yet. Hopefully you will have a better experience with the AK paint, I have not used metallics but their matt camouflage paints are great, cheers.
Must have missed Seamus shout out of your channel. It’s a bit hard to see the end result like this. Can you do some end pictures maybe? Anyhow nice stuff you’re building 💥👍💥
Hi Liam, nice mixing for the interior green, I think that the actual colour is open to interpretation but yours looks pretty good. I have just built a Tamiya Cromwell and bought the Eduard photo etch set to use on it, I think that I used less than 10% of the parts as they are far too small and fiddly to use and would be hardly noticeable if they were used, cheers Liam.
First of all Liam big congrats on your retirement no excuses now get to building great little kit i'm working on some 48 scale kits at the minute enjoy the build 👍👍
Hi Liam. As you have said its a learning curve but still looks good the more you do the better you will get at it there are so many weathering products on the market it's finding the one that works best for you 👍👍
Hi Liam, I hope that you enjoy your well deserved retirement, that should mean more modelling time! just go with the flow, my current model (Tamiya Cromwell) is taking far longer than I expected, I'm building it as a tribute to the men who fought in the D'Day landings and the subsequent battles. I would like it to be finished before June 6th and to hopefully to make another model of that era.
Hey Steven, many thanks, that was the plan but they’re trying to keep offering another role 🥳. What a wonderful gesture - I’m hoping to do P-51D but I’ve no metallic paints, I’ll build it so far and pick some up. I hope you’re well and thanks for looking in.
Hi, I am Nelson and I'm a video editor, i will like to be your video editor, creating thumbnails and getting your content ready for RU-vid. I look forward to your response, Thanks!
