The hollow-out crown cap enhances visibility of the work surface and spray pattern, making it ideal for detailed work. It reduces paint buildup on the needle, minimizing clogs and spattering. Additionally, it improves airflow for a more consistent and even spray pattern. The design also lessens paint accumulation on the cap, making maintenance easier.
I have many cheap airbrushes I have done this to, even to the point of honing the point on a stone (you need a very steady hand) and it works great. It's also easy to destroy your needle. If you bent your needle, don't try to straighten it. You can get close but your spray pattern will never be right. Also, you only need to polish the two inches toward the point. No other part of the needle is touching a seal or the paint. Most importantly, do not do this to your expensive brushes. You can get a similar effect on your expensive brushes by wiping the needle down with a dry teflon lubricant after each use. But you expensive brushed have much finer tolerances and fewer plastic bushings.
I see I can buy this over aliexpress. If I order it over aliexpress do I get the same airbrush/quality and customer support as oppose to buying it from your site directly?
I bought my second airbrush from the brand and I will definitely have more! I'm surprised by the quality! My RU-vid channel is about the construction of Espaço Naves, and vehicles using recyclable materials and I invite anyone who wants to know!
Advise please.... When cleaning your airbrush, I have heard that you should remove the needle out of the front of the airbrush, others say to pull it out from the rear.... What is the REAL story from the "experts"?? Thanks for a good video....
Excellent video. I have a problem. I disassembled my brush for the first time and in removing the red tube the large O Ring was chewed up in the threads when it was originally assembled. The large O Ring is not in the bag containing eight rings. How do I obtain a new ring. I don't know who or where to contact. There is no part number for this ring. Appreciate your help.
@@NEOECO-Airbrush No longer have the o-ring which was in two pieces. Look into the red barrel. At the bottom of the threads is a o-ring . The o-ring is not in the package of the 8 spare o-rings. Hoping to get a new one. Thanks
@@lloydkeyser3947 Hi, Could you please take a picture for us and send it to bksydtt@outlook.com? By the way, almost all the O-rings are in the backup O-ring set. I will upload a new video about the O-ring on the SJ83 within two days. Could you please leave a comment there? That will make things clearer. Thanks!
@@NEOECO-Airbrush I no longer have the oring. It is the ring at the bottom of the red tube. When disassembled for cleaning the oring was in two pieces. I no longer have it. It is not one of the orings at is in the kit.

I live in Belgium. Can I order directly from you within Europe so I don't have to pay import taxes? Does this airbrush have the same parts as the NCT-SJ83?
I have the NCT-SJ83 and it is great apart from the trigger. When I press it down for air, there is a definite ‘click’ as I perform this function. I have no idea what is causing it. I have stripped it down, thoroughly cleaned the parts and lubricated them before reassembly and it makes no difference. As a reference, my H&S Infinity’s trigger depresses smoothly. It’s like the trigger mechanism is catching on something on the Neoeco. Have any people on here had the same experience? I cannot imagine it is a design feature. It is really annoying!
Hello, We want to address an issue that occurred in previous batches of this airbrush. Rest assured, the current versions available have been rectified and no longer encounter such problems. However, if you've purchased the previous version and are experiencing issues, please contact us via email at bksydtt@outlook.com. We're committed to assisting you in resolving any concerns you may have. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
There is one thing I see on many U Tube video's and that's people who let the trigger snap forward when spraying or just playing with the trigger. My buddy did this all the time and he wondered why he had cracked tips or a needle with a circular wear mark where the needle seats in the tip. This caused just enough paint to creep by and was spit out when he started to spray. The NEOECO airbrushes look interesting, something I think I should look into, very sharp looking tool ! You can never have enough airbrushes on hand ! Cheers.
Absolutely, I concur with your observation. Releasing the trigger until it returns to its original position can indeed yield more uniform results. It's a simple yet effective trick that can make a significant difference.
It's dangerous using a drill, my friend found out the hard way. Using a drill even at a slow speed to turn the needle is totally unsafe. If the tip of the needle catches the cloth in anyway the needle will bend and begin whipping around and your hand is now in the way before you know it. Your are better off polishing it by hand always.
Thank you for your input! I've taken the liberty of pinning a similar suggestion at the top for viewers to consider. Your contribution is valued. Thanks once again!
I HIGHLY do NOT recommend this method. I have seen several instances where people have bent the needle this way even at a low speed. Even a slight bend anywhere can ruin a needle. Especially cheap ones. Hand polishing is safer and just as effective.
Thank you for your response! Considering the potential risks associated with electric drills, opting for manual tools seems like a safer choice. I've highlighted your suggestion by pinning it at the top for others to consider. Your input is greatly appreci
The SJ83 has undergone significant upgrades from its initial version. The current batches boast smoother trigger response, a higher quality copper chrome-plated cup, and a slightly enhanced nozzle. Importantly, this nozzle is compatible with the previous version of the SJ83 as well. These improvements have notably enhanced the detail capability of the airbrushes available in the current batches. Furthermore, the airbrush featured in the video is a special 0.2mm SJ83 version, incorporating all the aforementioned enhancements. The remaining features remain unchanged. Thank you for your attention to these improvements!
Dear Neoeco - thank you for the tutorials- i love my sj83 - I recently ordered and received (via amazon) the SJ83 needle replacement part kit - the nozzles are slightly longer than those that originally came with the airbrush so that the nozzle cap doesn’t sit flush with the body - thus air come spraying out of the cup - also the nozzle cap seems a bit thinner and the needle cap doesn’t fit over correctly- it tends to fall off - any advice?
Hi, that model will be released soon. WIth new design fan cap, different from all the fan caps on tha market. When it is finished, i will upload the video here. Thanks!
@subversive1219 I suspect that this was due to your limited experience in using an airbrush and not due to faulty equipment. I have the NCT-SJ83 and I think it is the best airbrush in this price range. Operating the equipment is very simple. It's hard to break something with it, the seals wear out over time, nothing else. I recommend NCT-SJ83 to everyone who is considering purchasing it.
A bit late for this video. I threw my Neoeco brush in the trash two weeks ago. I did every type of fix I could think of. I'm done with your cheap shit.
Hello, and apologies for the inconvenience you're experiencing. The issue primarily stems from not tightening the air cap sufficiently. Surprisingly simple, yet often overlooked. To assist those facing similar challenges, we've created a helpful video guide to ensure effective resolution.
You should have contacted Neoeco first. And cheap doesn't necessarily mean bad: I have a cheapo I bought for $20 AU (with a tiny "compressor") eight years ago and it's still working perfectly.
Hello, we apologize for the delay in releasing the newest model of the airbrush. The NCT-GA is not the newest model. Due to high demand and the need to ensure top-notch quality, production is taking longer than expected. However, we are excited to announce that we have recently acquired advanced manufacturing machinery, which will significantly speed up the process. The new machine is scheduled to arrive next week, and once operational, we'll be back on track with production. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
Hello, thank you for your response. We're excited to offer you a special deal on our chrome plated cup with a 15% discount if you're interested in making a purchase. Additionally, we're pleased to inform you that we've recently upgraded the cup to feature copper material instead of aluminum, ensuring even higher quality and stability. We appreciate your continued support!

I own a few of your airbrushes... 116B, 183K, 134K, SJ83, and they are all wonderful airbrushes with each having a special place of duty. I use the 116B pistol trigger brush for base-coating, and finish coating guitars. I love it, and the double tapered drop in nozzle is what I think sets it apart from other similar designs. Quick nozzle changes without hazard of damaging the nozzle is a wonderful feature. Having said that, there seems to be better atomization from the double taper fluted drop in nozzle you have incorporated into the SJ83. I believe it is a superior design for air flow, and atomization at lower air speeds, I think this SJ83 style nozzle would be a wonderful feature on a new design, and would incorporate interchangeable without having to invest in new factory tooling, with the exception of making an additional nozzle size of .8mm. A few features that I think would make it the ultimate package: 1. Double taper drop-in nozzles of the SJ83 in .3mm, .5mm, .8mm 2. Availability of additional larger plastic paint cups in standard size thread (matching those of the 116B) 3. An elongated opening in the tail piece that is longer than average, which will allow for more pull on the needle chucking nut for better flush-outs and pre-priming. 4. A push/pull engage and disengage limiting mechanism on the tail-piece which would allow return to limiter setting after a wide open setting without having to dial it in again, or maybe this is out of reach? 5. A MAC valve, as is present in the 116B. I have found this to be invaluable in fine tuning airspeed depending on the type of medium I am spraying and how close to the target I need to be. 6. I have no issues with the handle ergonomics of the 116B, but a slightly longer handle for people with larger hands? Maybe a stipple grip texture? But definitely make the appearance different so people will be able to identify it as the "new"' design on places like Amazon. 7. Teflon washers/O-rings on the front side which can come into contact with solvents. 8. Nickname it the "Raven" design. (SJ88 ?) Just a suggestion, I think it is a catchy name that will do well for marketing. Can this all be done with a price point that competes with Gaahleri's Swallowtail design? I may have other ideas that come to mind later. Thank you Neoeco for the good quality airbrushes, and thank you to Frank for the quality service. I just bought another SJ83 today :) -Russell
Thank you for your valuable input and suggestions. I agree that utilizing 0.3mm, 0.5mm, and 0.8mm needles and nozzles would be ideal for our purposes. Regarding the larger plastic cup for the 116B model, I'm pleased to inform you that we already have a suitable option available-a 75cc cup, which can be found here: neoeco-airbrush.com/products/75cc-airbrush-plastic-cup-for-model-nct-116b-116 Concerning the elongated opening in the tail piece, adjusting the knob to the maximum setting should provide sufficient length for our requirements. I will definitely communicate your fourth idea to our engineering team and explore the feasibility of its implementation. Regarding the longer handle, I wholeheartedly agree that it's an essential feature. Rest assured, we aim to maintain a competitive price point comparable to Swallowtail. As for naming the product, I suggest we wait until the gun design is finalized. This way, we can pinpoint its most remarkable feature and assign a fitting nickname accordingly. Please feel free to share any further ideas or suggestions you may have. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
@@NEOECO-Airbrush Thank you for your response. I am excited to see what your company produces in new airbrushes! Your response is a standing testament to your sincere interest and satisfaction of your present and future customers. I pray you develop something truly astounding, and that you prosper!
I bought this product in January this year as I was searching for a maintenance set that would clean and solve the annoying air bubble leakage from the nozzle end of two new Patriot 105 air brushes. The provision of an airbrush lubricant and sealant together in one set is excellent. I have purposely bought airbrushes with replaceable needle bearings and so the tools provided in this set have been essential. Great Product.
Hi nice video, but I have one of your NEOECO NCT-SJ83 and I do enjoy all of it, except for the nozzle guard is it not possible for you to make different ones? No complaints from me but you should also have included this new maintenance product included. This would give every customer, much better confidence in your product, which would relate to more sales.
Hello, thank you for choosing our products! We're excited to announce that we're currently in the process of preparing new accessories to enhance your experience. Among them, we're introducing a needle protective cap and a 2cc small cup specifically designed for the SJ83 model. But that's not all! We're also working on additional accessories to further elevate your usage. Once these accessories are finalized, we'll make sure they're readily available for purchase in the USA through Amazon. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we appreciate your patience and support. Thank you!
On the back of the airbrush is the trigger travel restriction. Personally, I would prefer the knurled screw to have click stops. One click stop for fine line, one for medium and one for broad. That would give me total consistency.
@@NEOECO-Airbrush O-Rings are OK, but they are a weakness when you have them in areas that solvents (lacquer especially) can wear-down, especially near the nozzle or where paint-cups meet the body. This makes using solvent-based paints a no-go in airbrushes that use rubber o-rings.
@@landwand Understood, we'll incorporate teflon in the upcoming models specifically for areas in contact with solvent-based paint. This enhancement will bolster durability and minimize wear-and-tear. Appreciate your valuable suggestions!
Consider also not using the painted cups. Chrome is far more resilient and we wouldn't have to worry about paint-chips falling into our projects. @@NEOECO-Airbrush
@@landwand Thank you for the advice. Moving forward, our future models will exclusively feature chrome plated cups, eliminating the need for coloerd painted cups altogether. We appreciate your input. Thank you.
I bought the NCT-T400 off of Amazon, and no matter what i do, no matter how much i thin my paint, i cannot get the thing to spray if i use the included compressor. I sent a message to the NEOECO store profile on Amazon, but never got a reply. The brush is fine for priming and even regular painting but the compressor has never been able to push paint. if i connect to a regular compressor (specifically a harbor freight one with a tank) it sprays fine. Please NEOECO i would really appreciate help with this
Everybody rushing in to get rid of their good ideas - I have no good ideas - I have a suggestion - make the cups smaller and give them some no stick coating - get rid of the threading and gasket - the trigger should be a bit more precise - and ever thought of a threeway - air - air pressure and paint - all on the trigger`
Hi I purchased through Amazon the airbrush Neoeco nct sj83 in july 2023 . My problem is with the tip dripping and my paint cup paint bubbling and pushing the cap. I have verified all avenues and nothing works . It is not my compressor, all the screws on my airbrush are tight, and it has been cleaned numerous times. Please help me with this problem. Thank you.
Hi, I apologize for the inconvenience you've encountered. Typically, when experiencing tip dripping, it's often due to the needle not being inserted deeply enough, resulting in a gap between the needle and the airbrush. To rectify this, try removing the needle and reinserting it firmly into the airbrush. Regarding the bubbling issue, this is commonly caused by the air cap not being tightened properly. Here's a helpful video demonstrating how to address this problem: ru-vid.comzPsWu5rFEXg . We hope these solutions resolve your concerns. If the issues persist, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via email at service@neoeco-airbrush.com. We're here to assist you.
I have the SJ81 and it's not bad. Although the spring tension adjuster is over designed, and was broken on mine. No big deal but I'm glad to see you've ditched it. My question is will the tiny nozzle from an Iwata fit my SJ81?
extra one use a limiter on trigger movemdnt like we have on claisscal airbrush with distance spray on the knob so we knwo the best distance for atomisation for this trigger movement
two ideas , get a cup that is clipsable an not screwed with an auto close ( i bit like bottom feed but on the top for fast changing cup. Other idea a side hole to clipse a clean bucket to allow allo to clean the needle and nozzle more efficeint than just backflush so you can easily swap from balc to whithe without removign the needle for cleanup
Hi, thank you. The ideas sound interesting and creative. Is it possible to contact us via emai bksydtt@outlook.com ? We can talk further there. Thanks.
