You would have loved the pillar/carpet glitch it would make this settlement somehow even better with fun and perky builds well done for the best settlement ive laid my eyes on!
At Murkwater Construction Site I used the wooden stairs with the piece of floor connected to it so that you can start the next floor and I went up 2 levels. On the second level I began laying wooden squares for the floor and it was probably 50 squares total. Then I lined the entire peremeter with laser turrets and missle turrets to make the defense ridiculously over powered. I put a bed in the middle of the platform and a foot locker with tons or stimpacks, radaway, rad x, jet, psycho, everything you would need to maintain your survival and of course I left some high damage legendary weapons, ammo and a suit of Mark VI X-01 power armor. Then I wired all the turrets to one another and ended the circuit on a single switch. Basically a master switch that once turned on every turret is now armed and ready. I built a seperate set of wood planks to house the 2 big fusion generators that produce 100 electricity each then connected them both to the switch that gives power to all entire ring of turrets but I left the switch off and by doing so none of the turrets were activated and I did not build any machine gun style. They all required power to work. After doing all that I climbed down the stairs and scrapped them on my way down. Leaving all the survival equipment on a floating platform about 25 feet suspended in the air with the generators runming but the switch is turned off so nothing works. Then I sent Marcy Long to be a settler there so maybe now she will be a little more appreciative of all the things we have done for her... She was NEVER satisfied always conplaining well now she has plenty reason to complain only there is nobody around to hear her mouth except the mirelurk queen so maybe she will give Marcy a boost up to the platform so she cab throw the switch and if not then Marcy is definitely in a pickle... I brought everything I needed to build all that stuff with me so that means there is no supply line. Nobody passing through. Just the way she wanted it. She wanted a secret place where nobody would know about where she is well she got exactly that. The only visitor she will have every week or so will the the Mirelurk Queen and I doubt she will drop the dime on Marcy's new hideout.... Everything she needs to live like a Queen is about 30 feet above her but the chances of her finding a way up there is 0.000000001% good luck Marcy you gonna need it!!!
So I ran into an issue, it won’t let me place anymore concrete or wood platforms. I can place anything else, but I think I reached a specific item cap.
Very nice settlement but Νo mods?Really?the 90% of the items you used is from downloaded mods...concrete walls,neon lights,street lights,decorations and many more....Nowhere in vanilla game there is all those items

I know this isn't a forum but if someone could help me out I'd be much obliged. Recently I decided to completely rebuild Spectacle Island after years of the way it was. I completely built all the way around the perimeter and much more. Thing is, at certain points but several yards and well out of the away from the perimeter I'm getting the message 'Outside Build Area' and within 5 seconds build mode switches off and yet I'm actually INSIDE the build area. I can see the green perimeter zone about 20 or so yards away. Anyone any ideas as to why this happens ?
I know it's been like 6 yrs but nice job. The only thing I find funny is how several builds U have seen now use the "Salon" sign for a "Saloon". Other than that you have given me some ideas for my next spectical island build. I put Fallout 4 down for a few years and came back to it ready to build some more.
Holy cow, I cannot believe you fit that much stuff into only 4-5 settlement limits. Very impressive. My favorite part is that arena! I've never seen anything like it, I want to be a spectator!
2:25 very curious, what is used here as a 'stair replacement' that allows you to walk up? I'm always using regular stairs which honestly gets a little dull after a while

Respect to your hard work. you obviously put a lot of love into this project.. my only complaint is it's too big, you should trim out 10-15% so it runs smoother... And get more settlers it's a ghost town....
Perfect, but was hoping for the entirety of the island to be used. I know, the island is so big that when you're on one side of the islands, the resources on the other side don't count. Still, though.
