Just some casual gaming going on across PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch. Mainly recording full missions for games which might not get as much love or attention, but there will be the occasional well known title. I'll also occasionally make a guide for a particular achievement/trophy, using them for achievement/trophy guides on the TrueAchievements and TrueTrophies websites.
Hope you enjoy the videos, and maybe you'll find an interesting game you may want to play for yourself.
Thanks for stopping by and spending some of your day here.
Thank you, thank you. I appreciate it. I find it funny/odd that this got the most interest of what I've played so far next to Beet the Vandel Buster on PS2. I still had a small number of trophies after I recorded this video, 20 hours played, 1-hit KOs, all tank colors unlocked, all crew & support cards earned, and reach level 80. Thankfully I didn't have too long to spend to finish those off. I think maybe an additional 2 or 3 hours total. That was really sitting in an Extra Match having the clock countdown for total time.
Nishi makes a good point, all tanks have their own weaknesses, the Sherman is no different, it can still take punishment but the shells will always always go clean through 😂
After Maus Mayhem where I failed the first couple of tries with Miho, I had figured things were just going to be tougher, and I KINDA didn't want to change up how I normally played matches. That's why I just selected a powerful tank and went with it. Trying to remember when I recorded this, I think I wanted Maho, but set the crew on Erika's tank. All I was looking for when scrolling the tanks was the set crew among the Black Forest tanks. :/
@@ParallaxFallout Nice and btw have you played the other rosehip stage the other reach destination mission that took place in the cliffs??? i missed that and I finally beat my final extra game mission the other rosehip mission the one in the edge of the cliff just finished today. Man it took me almost a year to figure out how to control the crusader god it was hell for me going as far as having dreams of finishing that mission, but now all of that comes to an end and finally reached 100%
@@ParallaxFallout Yup i manage to finish everything yesterday that rosehip edge of the cliff mission gave me frustration for over 1 year wanting to finish that but all that comes to an end
Congrats. When I was doing the race through the streets, I ended up just figuring out that I REALLY needed to be gentle on the thumbstick. When I wasn't was when the tank would just end up doing donuts all over the place.
There are two actually. Dream Tank Match for PS4/Switch, where the Switch version has all of the DLC included, and Senshadou Kiwamemasu! for the PS Vita.
My understanding is that it does from at least one reddit post I saw. Someone said they purchased a Lite to play it, and they said they played through it in about 2 weeks time.
I don't have access to it since I just have the base PS4 version of the game and none of the DLC. :( I had used the Panzer IV the first time I attempted it. I did rather well until I drove backwards up a wall where I got taken out. That's when I opted to switch to the Tiger II because of good armor.
@@ParallaxFallout well you can unlock the type-10 by playing the panzerfahren but i don't know if you can unlock the tank by just playing one of the missions in extra game mode called it's againts the rules since that easy method worked for nintendo switch based on my experience. I don't own a PS4 but you can try though, but battling againts a type 10 would rather be difficult since the only weakest spot of it is it's rear. Both Front and Side armors are too Hard to penetrate
That mission is unfortunately part of the DX DLC content on PS4. :( After Maus Mayhem, there are only two more Extra Missions I have left to play, 'The Victor's Strength' and 'We'll Be Your Opponents!'
There are two actually. Girls und Panzer: Senshadou Kiwamemasu! for the PS Vita and Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match (PS4)/Dream Tank Match DX (Switch). The Switch version has all the released DLC included and seems to be the more popular version that people get.
I was tempted to get the Switch version, but I do like achievements and trophies. They're a little something extra to increase my time with a game. Sometimes getting me to play elements I might not partake in.
I honestly wish I could tell you. The only grinding I've been doing so far is to complete blueprints every time a new MS shows up. I'm only a few missions ahead on the PS5 version of the game than what I've been recording on my PS4. So I haven't had a need to grind parts yet since I haven't been struggling yet. The game gives the Phoenix Gundam and the items to sell for 1 million Capital right when you begin a new game, I upgraded the Zaku, the Phoenix, and whatever partner I'm using to max. I haven't looked at parts too much currently.
@@ParallaxFallout I know Phoenix gundam is one I've used many a time, but I coyod never did the right MS to get the R7 parts. At most I've jist had to stick to DLC mission 1 the stage with the AGE FX blueprints, to try and farm the R6 parts I think, but the other stages are a little harder especially since I don't know where the cap unlock 5th items are.
I bought my copy on eBay. I get most of my used games from there. I will look at seller reviews, pictures, and the descriptions to make sure it isn't a broken box or just a disc. There are also sites like Playasia where I've gotten new games from like my copies of Super Robot Wars. Just remember to research copies of the games. Girls und Panzer comes in full Japanese, but the "Southeastern Asia" version has multiple languages, including English.
@@ParallaxFallout so I actually have to buy the boxed version because you can't buy digital which is not a problem because in our stores this game is also sold with English subtitles
You can always make an account for the region of the game you want to buy. You just need to look up an address in a city in that country to put it in when making the account. This will give you access to thar regions PSN Store, but you will end up needing a way to pay for things in that country. Playasia will sell PSN cards for certain regions to use in the store. That's an alternative way.
Not that I'm aware of. Just PS4 and a Switch version. I believe the Switch version just has all the DLC on the cart whereas PS users need to purchase the DLCs. I know there has been advances in Switch emulation, but I'm not following it really unless it randomly shows up in social media feeds.
I've just been doing things in order as I work towards the platinum trophy. I'll do one or two story missions, then one or two Extra Battle matches, then do a Domination. The next Domination will end up being Pravda, then I'll cycle through story and extra, then it will be Black Forest after that. No real time table other than saying late April for that one as I try to have a video every three days.
Hey, right now it's looking like May 11th for the Black Forest Peak video. My release schedule is currently looking like this: April 17 - Extra Match: Rosehip's Secret Special Training April 20 - SD Gundam April 23 - Domination: Pravda April 26 - Star Trek Online April 29 - Story: Nostalgic Alley and Western Scene May 2 - Sea of Stars May 5 - Extra Match: Maus Mayhem May 8 - ??? May 11 - Domination: Black Forest Peak Question marks being non-GuP videos I haven't gotten to yet.
Haven't gotten to it just yet, but controlling her Crusader during the Oorai Streets story mission was not fun. Why I ended up just blocking the enemy tank and bombarding her. The next two videos are Carro Festival and then Katyusha will purge you! (This was the toughest one yet for me) from Extra Matches, followed by the next Domination and then another story or two. I should get to it in roughly 2 weeks.
Recorded the Rosehip Extra missions. Jeez. Going through on Normal, I REALLY feared about Expert, but I was learning during it and that helped out a lot. Didn't take as long as I thought it would, but still nerve racking. Story mission on the 30th, SD Gundam on the 2nd, story mission on the 5th, something else on the 8th, Extra Mission "Chihatan and Friends" for the 11th, probably SD Gundam for the 14th, and finally the Rosehip on the 17th.
@@ParallaxFallout expert is about 2min. I finished 1second before it ended. The 2nd rosehip mission where takes place in a cliff but if you play it on extreme you will start at the finish line to starting line, that difficulty is hell and the only mission and difficulty that I yet to finish untill I reach 100% complete
I just realized my cut at 9:03 was too much or it didn't cut together in my editor properly or something. I didn't show myself selecting the first Exhibition Match again to replay. Oof. I also missed the cut of me pressing the wrong button and going to the main menu. How sloppy. :|
There are two for consoles. This one on PS4/Switch and one on the Vita. The Vita game is all Japanese. There were also two mobile games. One is still running and the other shut down in 2019. This one isn't too shabby. Nothing too deep or complicated and it just runs through the series & Der Film for its story mode.
It was in the anime. The tanks are modified in various ways and apparently it allows for drifting. Makes for some fun scenes in the series. Makes it difficult to actually hit the enemy in the game.
My exact thoughts when I first started it up. When I thought about it, I think the bulkiness of tanks helps keep it simple to design. Also, not like the anime has too many highly detailed scenes. Makes it pretty easy to match imo.
I wish it were easy. It's sheer paranoia from traps and these first chunk of raids I recorded are normal level raids. Haha. There have been a handful I've ran into that have frustrated me to no end. I was playing last night and I died about 12 times or so. I unfortunately lost half the footage. :| Probably going to need to do half replay and half the recorded footage I still have for that one.
Every time I've won as him, I literally don't set out to do so. I'll find some random person and attack them, then most everyone else just decides to show up and attack. So ridiculous.
Howdy! There were actually three games made. Darkness Century on the PS2, Busters Road on the GBA, and Vandel vs Busters on the NDS. They're all rather interesting. I played them, but never got too far into each of them unfortunately.
@@anthonyzayas8267 This was on an actual PS2. I own a PS2 Test console. There are no region locks or anything on it, but it also can't play dvds as a tradeoff. I've currently misplaced my PS2 power cable, so I haven't continued this as an actual series of videos with Google Translate app. I have seen some videos of it being played via emulator. All of them have had the issue where textures get stuck on an object and pulled across the screen. I own a copy of Busters Road and Vandels vs Busters too, but have also played them on emulators years ago.
There's been three Beet games: Bouken-Ou Beet: Busters Road for the Gameboy Advance Bouken-Ou Beet: Vandels vs Busters for the Nintendo DS Bouken-Ou Beet: Darkness Century for PlayStation 2
Looking forward to the longplay! If you know the fact that the developer (Shade) is a company founded out of Ex-Quintet members, this really is like a spiritual succeder to Terranigma with spear fights and stuff. I like to ignore that the game is actually based on an anime xD
Thank you so very much for uploading this. For years I've wanted to see how this game plays, and you're the only one I know who's uploaded videos of it. Tis' the curse of an obscure series like this. The hit detection seems terrible, though it's hard to say from this little. In any case, I hope you upload more.
