i have BD’s on the jeep. great. Im getting a Nacho grande lamp for the motoscooter though. (which could be said it is between the lp6& the lp9 in power etc)
can you mount it higher up on the engine guard, tucked up between that gap between the tank and fairing? I was thinking the clamps that would be used to secure the hard lowers is what you could use for the horn
I reoiled my s&s air filter this week and now my bike is over heating after i reinstalled it. Added coolant to overflow but after riding last night ,fan kicks on but bike keeps going up in temp ,got up to 242. Im puzzled. Idk if its coolant air bubble or dirty radiator or a leak.
Sounds like a head gasket problem. Hate to break the news to you. Before you blow the engine you might as well do the big bore & cams if not both at less to the cams. There is a new style head gasket that is more reliable. Indian is aware of the issue but won’t own it. Hopefully your under warranty is not go forward with the upgrades.
Great video, thanks for sharing. I've never changed my brakes, so I've got a question. Since it's a "closed" system, when you put the calipers back on, is there a need to bleed the lines at all? Is it once the calipers are back on, cap off the front oil reservoir and engage the brakes or do you do that before you close it?
Always bleed the brakes on motorcycles as a good practice. It is a closed system so as long as you maintain a full reservoir you should be good. Always test ride and take it slow.
Yes based on the manual the post previous was the method explained. After learning more about the bike and the cooling system is how we do most bikes water cooled.

appreciate the follow up! thx for sharing. looking forward to taking delivery of my 22 pursuit in a couple weeks. your videos will be a big help when I start turning wrenches. p.s. respect for changing oil in a white shirt. 😄
I didn’t ask them, standard for the bike with filter changes 5 quarts. I have changed oil on this bike 6x start with 4 run it add a 5th and checking for the correct level. Sometimes have to add a little sometimes not.
@bluezuke860 full disclosure .. I was checking out the forums. I've seen it mentioned more than once on the Indian challenger/pursuit fb group. read the early model years called for 6... but the manual changed to 5. no changes to the motor that I know of. again, I'm going off what I read on the site from the reputable contributors. just food for thought
