I drove through those gates every day for some years, but why have they painted them white? The Patent Shaft gates were always light blue! To remember this great company, they should be restored to their original colour.

I used to live in Owen Street. We moved into the flat attached to the Tipton Hearld offices. We moved there from Coseley, prior to moving to South Wales with my dad's job. Mum was involved with the Tipton Community Association. I started school at Tipton Green Infants school. Happy days.

We found their grave as kids, so sad, but I think they cleaned it up years ago, miss the guest hospital, we have to travel miles now, God help us when they open the super hospital in b, ham, nothing on the doorstep anymore
It must have been a terrible time when it happened I remember going into the guest when they were closing it down I used to work for a window cleaning company who cleaned the windows at the guest seeing the inside was very creepy but memorable sadly you have to travel miles for a hospital thanks for watching 👍
I was born in Hallam Hospital, a former Workhose. I lived for a short period in Potter's Lane Wednesbury above a Mangle Repair Shop. Now there's a long vanished occupation!
@@cjcadventures my mom and dad worked there, aggro and lorraine, webby, was it brian mcavoy i nearly ripped his throat out till my dad stopped me, i did the twilight shift used to jump the fence to go for a pint LOL

@@cjcadventures pay day on a thursday, 11.45 finish on a friday i used to a hour early in the week, straight from clubbing to 4 hours on a saturday straight from clubbing to do 4 hours on a sunday LOL
My mother had cousins , the Tiptons , who owned a Boarding house named CLIFF DALE , .It was in Llandudno and my mum had most wonderful holidays there with her Aunty Cissie , and her children , A Cissies husband was a disabled man , but still very capable, He was a councillor for the town for some years , I live at 3 Panakaraeo street in Kaitaia nz , and would love to hear from family if they see this .
