Alas I didn't ever get to see Sons of the Pope in Hull but I did get to see several other of the bands on the 'Mrs. Wilson's Children' LP, including The London Boys, The Vets and Human Zoo. A couple of other favourite local bands (ca. 1982) included International Rescue and The Rialtos. I was also there for the last night of the Wellington Club (it reopened later as the Welly Club) and one night not long before when it was raided by the police. That was the last time I saw the local legend that was Mrs. Wilson. They took our membership cards and didn't give them back. I wish I'd seen more gigs there but I did at least catch The Revillos. Amazing. Great music nights, too - that was the first place I heard Killing Joke.
Jade version should of not gone on Indian Big Brother, just a feeling from a thought I have and had before, like hemorrhoids, hemorrhoids 74 of them would be called a bunch of grapes, free to all dead Jihadi's?

(Ass) the last air is expelled at end of song there is a 2 second gap then in comes a wee short fart, it really sets the song off, alas whoever uploaded this didn't include it.
I'm always amazed when I hear Bill Oddie sing. Comedian, actor, ornithologist & could easily have made it as a serious vocalist.. He is a multi-talented guy.
@@JoFreddieRevDr lucky reputedly amazing live, my dad was friends and I played in a band with Jeff the guitarist around 1990 when I was 16 way after DFT but I grew up with this band so they hold a special place in my heart.
