When i reset my laptop nothing happenes... after the reset is done the same screen on min. 1:04 appears again... i really need help. I need the documents on that laptop :( Any tips?
Entschuldigung, aber die Erklärung warum das Funktioniert ist Unsinn. "Das Sind Zinn Leiterbahnen die halt korrodieren, auf diesen Platinen und ... mit dieser Hitze ... können die sich wieder regenerieren" Also die Leiterbahnen sind i.d.R. aus Kupfer. Korodiertes (=oxidiertes) Kupfer kann sich durch Hitze nicht wieder "regenerieren", weil es durch die Oxidation in Kupferoxyd umgewandelt wird. Das Zinn kann sich auch bei 160° nicht "regenerieren", weil dieses erst ab 190° schmilzt... Das Sog. Das sog. "Reballing" bei dem die Platine tatsächlich auf 200° erhitzt wird bis das Zinn schmilzt, ist jedoch nicht die Reperatur. Hi, ich habe heute (vielen Dank gleich vorweg für die tolle Anleitung) in meinen Acer E5-511-46x5 Laptop (alles ist ident mit dem Laptop im Video) eine Verbatim SSD-Festplatte 500GB und 2 Stk. 8GB Ram (PC3 12800S (DDR3L)) eingebaut. Hat alles gut funktioniert dank deiner Anleitung. Das Starten war problemlos, jedoch die Installation vom Betriebssystem über USB-Stick funktionierte erst nach dem 3. Anlauf unglaublich langsam - inzwisdchen mehrere Stunden. Im Bios wird alles korrekt angezeigt von Festplatte und deren Größe. Auch die 16GB Ram werden korrekt angezeigt. Der Laptop ist jedoch jetzt schon bei der Installation, wie gesagt, fürchterlich langsam. Habe ich etwas falsch gemacht (Kontakte schlecht angeschlossen, etc.) oder verträgt mein Acer die Größe der Rams oder die SSD-Festplatte nicht? Vielleicht kannst du mir dabei einen Rat geben. Vielen Dank.
Sir I have extensa 215-52 module and when I open i found only 1 slot just like in this video and it has 4gb ram installed in that slot but when I see in task manager it shows 2 slot's and total ram is 8gb ram..I want to upgrade my ram to 16gb but i don't know where the 2nd slot is
I wonder what would be the proper name for that cover/lid that is slim and long almost as the laptop, and covers/protect the display's hinge ! It is compeltely removable and, perhaps, replaceable. I got mine partly ripped off, and I need to replace it and ... I don't know even how to name it, let alone identify as a replaceable part 🙂 You did not touch the display itself, so I can't guide to the location inside the movie
I bought one of these recently! I had a hardisk installed but no ssd. I tried to use a sata m.2 ssd with it but its not detecting it. Does it only detect pcle m.2 nvme?
Ich habe ein toshiba satellite c70d von einer Bekannten bekommen, um mal zu schauen ob ich ihn reparieren kann, er bringt einfach kein Bild...Bleibt schwarz, Lüfter drehen sich aber. Festplatte getuscht, Ram getauscht und SLots gewechselt, aber keine Verbesserung. Werde ihn mal öffnen und schauen ob ich da was finde. Gute ANleitung im Video, der geht ja echt easy auf.
Good video my friend. These HP Proddesk G5 Mini now come through as cheap ex-lease computers for about 150 Euros in my country. I agree, they are very nice and quiet. Many people will need Display Port to HDMI cables or adapters. The Crucial website is great to find compatible SSD's and RAM. Enter the computer brand and model, then you can look up compatible drives and RAM. For some RAM upgrades you have to upgrade the BIOS first, so make sure you do that before you plug the new RAM in. No, it's not difficult to replace a CPU. In the old days when CPU's had pins, that was tricky. About "be very, very careful". Yes, of course be careful, but instead of repeating this warning 10 times, say what that means, be very careful. It's important to put in the CPU in the right orientation, ie line up the one marked corner of the CPU and socket. And make sure the CPU is seated properly before closing it. And yes, you always replace the thermal past. But no, you don't clean the heatsink with air, you use tissue or a micro-fibre cloth. Usually no alcohol required, the past should come of dry. HP has great service manuals to download, they explain well how to upgrade anything.
Fun to see an 'expert' do things in an order guaranteed to cause a destroyed system and full reinstall. Always fully disconnect the battery first before performing any other actions. Happy upgrades!

Top Anleitung, danke! Wollte für ältere Dame eigentlich "nur mal eben kurz" den RAM und die HDD zu einer SSD aufrüsten. Ohne Wartungsklappe natürlich ein absoluter Krampf. Aber bei der Gelegenheit direkt nochmal die Heatsink gereinigt und die WLP erneuert :D
Can u add 2.5 inch hdd in this laptop with appropiate hdd bracket holding the hdd. I can see , now a days HP skipping Hdd in their 15s laptop but i can see clearly there is enough space for 2.5 inch hdd installation which the brand don't even supply hdd flex cable within box for installation. HP brand don't want us to install HDD in laptop, which seems to be unfair for user upgradibility. Lenovo still provide spare hdd flex cable and hdd brackets for user installation of hdd within box. So i request, can you install the Hdd within this laptop ? 2024 comment
