If I have to point out the most unfair unwinnable matchup of the whole Xrd, it would be Leo vs Slayer. The skill gap required for Slayer to win this should just not be possible in any tournament phase above first elimination. This is a very shameful loss for a leotard.
I mean, let's be honest there. This matchup is completely decided by the question "is Pot player physically capable of potbuster input?", and if the answer is yes, Pot will always win.
While it should be said that this matchup is close to true 0-10 impossible to win for Slayer... OMG bagels confirms are so damn bad, and there's no burst reaction whatsoever. If you wanna be bad at your character's core mechanics, you gotta play some DLC tier broken bullshit, not Slayer.
Slayer's fan just learned that at the top level it is not enough to simply choose a character with a winning matchup and get easy win. turns out at the top level all characters can have potential, regardless of the matchup
@@Konakonizumi not true for Xrd. Low tier characters are the regular subject of being toyed with, the difference between tiers is much greater than in previous Guilty Gear games. It is not a high level tournament, so it's absolutely enough to choose a character with a winning matchup.
Look at the recent gameplay the RU-vid Blitz has been uploading. It’s a bit slower cus of how fast you lose dodge meter but it’s not as slow as the trailers showed
Yeah I feel so sad about them slowing it and making dodge meter only 2 dodge jumps or 6 ground dodges. Game was so fucking awesome how it was before. But they had to cater to the traditional slower, heavier, and less fast paced fighting gamers. God damn this game was awesome but I'm not sure it's going to be the same game I fail in love with when it comes back.
Ib doesnt increase risc gain per se, only indirectly, by creating the previously inexistent gaps in blockstrings making the risc gain scaling ongoing in airtight strings reset.
