That looks great! Have you ever tried it with cheese? I know it sounds strange, but it is a good combination. Apples and cheese can go together well. I want to share that idea, because maybe you can do something with it that I cannot

Thank you for your comment, and the opportunity for clarification. This channel and recipes are created for people who are healthy and are not working on any specific dietary goals or needs. Therefore, we consider recipes eaten as snacks with 7 grams or more per serving as high. This recipe makes 8 servings with a little over 7 grams of protein per serving, so it was categorized as high. Since there is no standard definition for high protein snacks, we recognize this protein amount may not be the “high protein” recipes for those who have specific protein needs or goals such as athletes or bodybuilders. Looks yummy and very healthy! My electric stove is hard to adjust and burns everything, do you think the crisping could be done in a little counter-top convection oven? Speaking of "beyond one way"... I think I'd like to also try making it with sesame seeds and/or tahini instead of peanut butter too, so I can share at a potluck. (What's with all the crazy peanut allergies???)
Yes, you can make the crisps in a convection oven and flip the quinoa every so often to get the even browning. Your idea of sesame seeds with tahini sounds yummy! Would love to hear how you like that version, happy eating :-)
