Makes you REALLY wonder just how awesome the16mm footage in The Beatles 'GET BACK' COULD'VE looked, instead of the DNR freak show that Ring Lord ultimately presented us with. Yes I still have a chip on my shoulder about that LOL. LOVE your channel !!!!
Oh my GOD. If I didn't know better, I would think this actually *was* made in the 80s. You NAILED it. The title kind of gives away the first twist if you think about it, but I definitely didn't see the second one coming. And I laughed out loud at "we didn't get one before." This was great.
I was coming from the USA so having security hand check my film on the way there wasn't a problem. When coming back through Italian security they did want to put my film through the x-ray machine. With a few stressful minutes of persisting and asking for a supervisor they allowed it to be hand checked and ended up being kind.
Thanks! This camera has an auto light meter built into it that sets the exposure. However the snow was reflectance and bright, so a lot of this footage was overexposed and I had to grade it down in post.
