Thanks for the software. I was using 2.0 on a cracked version, and wasn't aware of this manager. PC recognized it immediately and software update seems successful. 70CDR was my main pedal for years, and still has a place dedicaTED TO THE yAMAHA djx AND kORG vOLCA fm. The only other pedal that is more powerful (that I now own), is the Beebo which services the Neutron and other eurorack modules via a Bored Brain Patchulator. But the Beebo with it's touchscreen and flexible routings, isn't as immediate as the Zoom. Following on Bandcamp.
Ive been using the Superego for years, the Deep Freeze hasn't impressed me enough. It seems at best a lateral move to a smaller unit, if anything the Superego seems to have a warmer sound
Insane. I never heard something like this before. Sounds like it's coming straight out of a dimensional portal the villains from the Masters of the universe or perfect for a 80s horror movie. Really awesome effect.
Is the amazing Fuzz sound coming from the pedal or are you feeding it from another pedal? If so, what Fuzz pedal are you feeding into the Epilepsy? Thanks in advance!!
So the Made a plugin of the as 11B? Rad!?! Can You change the tubes in the plugin? Joking…. Kind of… do they have different settings of different tube variations in the plug in?
I was listening to the baritone portion of this a bit too loudly with the window open and it felled one of the trees in my yard! Fortunately I have many trees in my yard, and the trees themselves have a sense of collective purpose that enables them to take such events in stride (figuratively speaking, I realize they have roots), unlike most humans. I also realize they have that whole vegetative thing going, which gives them certain advantages over us, but that doesn’t diminish their dignity in the least. Oh! And, thank you so much for this insightful demo!
yes it was easy. All you need is a momentary footswitch, and then you solder it to the config button on the back. And to find a good spot to make the hole so that you have space inside for the switch. top right corner is a proper spot IMHO,
Hi Mario, please elaborate. How do you want to record odd meters? With LP2 following a MIDI clock from a master tempo device?
Ora hai 2 casi. 1. LP2 usato come MASTER CLOCK.
Great videos! Are you using Toggle Mode on the Morningstar to achieve the crossdub? I can't quite get it to work. I'd love a full breakdown on the programming of this in the notes. I'm sure it's something simple I'm missing.
yes I do use Toggle Mode on Morning star: first press sends (in this very order!): select track2, play now, feedback 100%, select track 1, rec/dub, feedback -10% (or as much less as you like). Second press the same commands but flipped tracks 1 & 2. Long press release sets feedback both loops back to 100% and play now on both loops, to close the process. Use your ingenuity!
When creating a synced loop, does it matter when you hit the play button or does it create the synced loop with the exact same start and end points as the first loop? Or are the loop points different, but the loop length is the same?
Loop length is the same, yes! Start point I dunno, and tbh I never took care of this detail. Check out Andre Lafosse videos, I think I covered that on a LP1 video. Also note: by default track 1 is the master loop. But you can move that with the "Set As Clock Source" command. For example: you record some drones on track1, then record a rhythm on track2. Now I want to send "Set as clock source" to track2 so that track 3 and 4 can be synched to it, if needed. Track1 stay unsynched.
Super helpful stuff! I've only had the LP2 for a couple of days and your video's have been a fantastic resource. I have an MC6 Pro and have been busily programming it. On a separate note, did you have to adjust the gain output on the LP2 at all? I found its output to be rather weak, so I boosted it a bit with the internal trimmers (about a quarter turn).
