Hello, my name is Aleksej Khoroshevskij. I was born in Kharkiv (Ukraine) and I live there.
Since about 2008 to the present day, I have been developing websites on Joomla and WebSite X5. I also provide services in their modernization, SEO promotion, PPC, protection against hacking and website speed up.
In 2009, I graduated from Kharkiv National Economic University with a degree in Computerized Technologies and Systems of Publishing and Printing Production (Master's degree). In 2015 I defended the dissertation (PhD) in speciality of Information Technology at Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics. The dissertation was devoted to Web-to-print based on Joomla.
I have a blog since 2010. There are also other personal projects. I do everything myself: starting from the idea to implementation, analysis and modernization.
I have been freelancing since 2014: mainly developing websites and online stores on Joomla.
Hello. Specify the keyword in the article settings. Then specify the same keyword in the banner settings. And activate the "Select by Keyword" option in the banner module. It worked in Joomla 3. But when I tested it in Joomla 5 it didn't work anymore (June 8, 2024, Joomla 5.1.1). I got an error in the browser console. It's probably a bug in Joomla. That's why I didn't show it in the video.
Hi Aleksej, I enjoy the presentation, and in the most part find it easy to follow, in the SP Page Builder main page, where I have added images and text, nothing is displayed in the Section/s, only when I click on the Preview Button does the page display its contents, I am sure it has something to do with the setting.
Hello. SP Page Builder has two editing modes: Frontend and Backend. In the first case, you see all the changes at once. In the second case, you see "blocks". To see the real page, you need to go to it or go to the preview. "Old school" is backend editing. I find this option more convenient. I also noticed that backend editing has a little more settings available. But it's up to you to decide which mode to choose.

Congratulations on the channel and the video tutorials. Definitely the content will be very useful because more and more people will turn to start and forgotten Joomla. WordPress failed with EFS.

Hello. Upload the video to the site. You can use the Media Manager for this (this is not suitable for all files). And then use the AllVideos plugin www.joomlaworks.net/extensions/free/allvideos to insert the video to your page.

Just started with going through your tutorials, and have found them very helpful for Joomla 4/5. I am looking at a new design template, to update from Joomla 3.3 I currently use on a website. One area which took me a while to work with was the Menus Using Menu Item Type = Iframe Wrapper, this allows me to display statistics in a workbook for a cricket club and it works fine. I just wondered if Joomla 4/5 has the Iframe Wrapper type too? Thanks

If you use another hosting, write to the technical support of your hosting and find out how you can create a database and what data you need to use to connect to it. Hello. I'm glad that the tutorial was apparently useful to you. When I recorded the video tutorial, I used Joomla 4.2.7 and the current (at that time) version of Social 2s. I just retested the latest version of Social 2s currently available (March 24, 2024) in Joomla 5.0.3. You're right. You need to install an additional plugin. I did this and was able to enter the plugin settings.
Thank you for the tutorial on something that has so little document about. I followed installing as this guide, the system confirm the installation was a success, however, I do not see the SP Page Builder option in the "Component" side bar. I also created a Menu item, but SP Page Builder was not one of the item type. Do you think the installation was somehow failed, or only partially installed? Could you assist me with this problem. Hello. I'm glad the video was useful to you. Regarding your question. I recommend re-installing the latest version of SP Page Builder. Just download SP Page Builder from the official website (www.joomshaper.com/downloads/extension) and install the component again. There should be no error messages during installation. If SP Page Builder does not appear in Components, then go to "System - Manage - Extensions" and look for the component there. It must be Enabled.

I sometimes miss where you click your mouse to get to different parts as your mouse moves qickl;y and i'm watching another part of the screen. It would help so much to follow you if you cou could just say for example "so click here to get your global options" I wouldthen know to look where you click.
