I’d lean away from Canyons especially with their reputation. The norco high pivots are great, so is the forbidden dreadnought, gt force, and the devinci chainsaw/spartan. If you’re in the market for a budget friendly full suspension, I’d take a look in the used market.
Ima be real with you. Buy gloves Take pre workout,, lean back. No breaks till you come close to corners but you should be going fast enough where you slide through corners. It’s that easy.
Hahaha Wish it was that easy. I own 2 pairs of gloves. It was wet so gloves would’ve been soaked and I like feeling attached to my bike. Just creek water for me, and braking before the corner and hitting it is much better. Gotta learn where the braking zones are on this trail. It would help if i knew it and pre rode as well. Being over the front is actually better than being over the back as it gives you more control and allows you to push down into obstacles. But practice makes perfect 😅
I wouldn’t have done any better but here’s my take: Try to work on your confidence. Obviously that comes with time but you should try a more aggressive braking technique (releasing completely when possible and max brake before a corner or a drop). You could also try looking forward more to know when it’s mostly straight and to release the brakes Other than that that’s very good riding, those conditions looked muddy AF 💪
Definitely. This was a blind run down a trail network that i’ve never ridden 😅. Would be great to improve my blind riding skills and brake control/technique
Like it. I just bought new bike few days ago as well. Now my old MTBuddy is used for shopping so if somebody would steal it, it wouldn't be som painful.
