Okay guys, My name is Paul and I run the lifeinthailand youtube channel. I enjoy making videos about the cool and interesting things I see here in beautiful Thailand. My videos show the wonderful people, the beautiful places, and most importantly the food, so much food. I also do videos about the things I am doing around my house here in Northeast Thailand, like raising animals and growing food and all that comes with a homestead style of life. I have been calling Thailand home since 2004 (over 1/3 of my life) and still find things that amaze me all the time, amazing Thailand. Please check out my videos and hit the subscribe button. Thanks.
I have stayed here a few times. It is a lottery as to which room you get. Some are old with wonky air-con and hot water. A few have been modernised but generally, the hotel is old and tired. Also now there is a very limited breakfast and not the one shown here. Just a bowl of watery rice and coffee.
hello Paul, is there a bus/van from this station to Mukdahan, if yes , how frequent, how long the journey and how much?. Thanks (I'm planning to go onwards to Laos and Vietnam)
Did you do anything to waterproof the concrete to prevent any seepage? How long will catfish live in there. Do you areate water? Sorry so many questions I was thinking about building one for catfish
and what have you learned in the last 8 years... the biggest enemies of your fish are the herons in your garden and your Thai lady with the fish knife in her hand... fish today cost 1.5 TB, food for 1 kilo 50 TB in BKK Breeding for at least 6 months...that's not so cheap anymore??
Shame to see comments off on your latest videos, I picked a random video, to comment on you latest 'best fried chicken video'. Totally agree, the chicken is next level, I used to buy fried chicken skin over on Koh Chang in the 90s. Needless to say you can't buy it here in the UK, certainly miss it, your video brought back great memories.
I have a (first year laying) royal palm hen that has lates & collected 13 eggs & gone broody on a nest in the grassy area of our field. Would I have better luck re-locating her to a pen as you have shown here? Or do you think it may be better for me to bring an inverted crate to her in her location and simply cover her nest area for weather and a bit more cover? We free range in a very large area, and lock up in the barn at night. She has not come in to the barn but has chosen to stay on this nest for the last four days
