Varaždin School of Music is one of the oldest music schools in this part of Europe. It was founded on the 1st of January 1828 as part of the subsequent music society and since its establishment, it has represented a part of the cultural life of the city. Varaždin School of Music is one of the central cultural institutions of the city due to its long-standing tradition and everything that it has to offer to children, young people, citizens of Varaždin and to all music lovers.
Established 190 years ago as a small city school, today the Varaždin School of Music covers the need for music education in the whole region and has over 800 students from whole of Croatia, including international students and over 100 highly qualified teachers.
