@@petekdemircioglu true but they are in a position (royal family) where they can easily make enemies. Tyler perry stated that Meghan was abused when they told them no security or money etc if they left, it was not abuse it takes money to support the family especially those with HRH in their titles that’s why the queen of Denmark (I believe it was Denmark) and the king of Sweden removed the titles from his grandchildren except his eldest daughters kids. It’s not abuse it’s just how things work. There is stuff that may seem to us as crazy, exaggerated etc but is there and has been that way for centuries for a reason. The royal family is staying silent and Meghan’s and Harry are just digging themselves deeper and are losing credibility on their own.

She loved them, did you ever see the video clip when they visited. HM had the biggest smile. I only saw her smiling when her grandchildren and great grandchildren were around her. The Spanish King kisses her hand every time he saw her. I don’t think there will ever be a Queen like her. May she Rest In Peace.

Yeah the originele house is still there, they just build this for the tourist as an entrance 😉 you go through the modern part and then you are guided to the secret stairs behind the bookcases that lead to the attic where she lived. Anne Frank is more famous outside of the Netherlands, it’s weird.

The obsession with Anne Frank house is curious. I am Dutch and lived in Amsterdam for 30 years when an American asked me where it was. I did not know. He pointed at a map and we were 300 metres from it! Today, tourist queues have swelled to hundreds of metres. I had to see the houde when very young. It was different then, more like visiting people in a real house. I did not think it was special. Later in life I came across other houses where people had been stacked away from the Nazis, in other cities, too. It is only the diary that survived that made it special and the fact that she was deported only at the end of the war. There must have been hundreds of such diaries but when you survived the war, all interest in your diary disappeared on May 5, 1945.

And with that it helps us and the younger generation to visualize how it was to live at this tender age, who just started puberty, the war inside her body because of hormonal changes, knowing herself as a young person and realizing what she can do, dealing with everyday Angst - not to get caught. She has to grow fast like everyone else at that time. Visualizing the horror of this life was a great deal as she wrote it and gave life to it. The purpose is that we should never forget what was happened then. Execution of power over humanity by the extinction of a certain race by creating war was never the right answer. I think everyone who have had read this book are overwhelmed and thankful that someone like Anne Frank, an extraordinary girl, so mature at her age, emotionally intelligent, she has done a great job, she knows exactly the purpose of her life by writing and creating this Diary of her. Now finding her home in Amsterdam wasn't easy for me too. But when I found out the huge AF Museum which is very close to her real house- i was extremely happy. Sad to say I wasn't able to go inside because of the capacity & reservation problems. Though I am glad I have found her house and saw it from the outside. 😍
