This was absolutely amazing to watch through. Multiple times my inner fan came out wanting to physically see all the changes happen. It was so cool seeing the ball crawl be built and even a snip of the Beach Bowzers early look / them performing. It'd be cool if we managed to see B.B. here before she was gone. Such a great video thank you so much for this
Hard to believe filming cameras were still so rudimentary in 1989. Technology really moved at a snail's pace back then. I was only 19 y/o, so at the time, I didn't notice nor know any better. In fact, back then, I'd have likely told you that videocameras were the high point of technology and how could it get any better? 😊
Agree, i was very surprised by the 'incorrect' color of the Red Special. My only guess as to why it was painted this bright, almost orange reddish hue was to make it stand out visually from a distance for display purposes. I personally would have preferred a more accurate paint tone. Regardless, the Brian figure is very well done...details are wonderful. The only 'flaw' if one can call it that is the guitar's color.
YES !! The John figure is stunning. The only one of the four in my opinion that has a almost photo-realistic face sculpt. You can see the man in this figure. The details are also all top notch. The fact they took the time to insure even the bass' pick guard has the right 'tortiseshell' design pattern lifts this figure to the #1 spot of the four sculptures. Just fantastic. Someone did their homework on this one !
I am of course saving all the full color boxes and packing materials...as i almost always do. But these beautiful works of art NEED to be displayed. They are all wonderful little sculptures.
