I got my 1st hokas last year, very comfortable. This is my first expensive running shoe. No regret because of the quality. Very good. The problem is the price is very expensive for me to get my 2nd pair of hoka shoe. In this bad economy environment, maybe i will opt to cheaper brand.
Lamento enormemente no poder utilizar zapatillas @HOKA… No son fáciles de encontrar y me dejan sin la opción de compra en web, mientras la agencia de transporte sea @UPS.
Wonderful inspiring story. I too attribute my life today to getting sober and that began and still continues to center around running . Those runs began in Jan 1978….thank you and those who put this together…
JLD are two of the most innovative and KIND people I have ever shared time with. I am so happy to see them getting the recognition they deserved/earned through hard work, creativity, and dedication.
I didn’t like the feel of the Hokas (can’t even remember the model) when I first tried it in a shop. Now I own 3 different ones.(Cielo,rocket,skyward). They are now my go-to shoes toe training and racing because of its balance of cushion and responsiveness at all paces.
Love this story, have watch this video 3 times already. Loves the shoe design aspects. Brought my firts pair of clifton v1 in 2016 and never looked back.
Two legends (and awesome humans!) right there! I remember when Nico and Jean-Luc first sent me a prototype of what became the Clifton 1 (this was over 10 years ago) and i was like "wow, I can run fast in this!". Got 16th place at the Boston Marathon in that shoe....(and I'm more of a mountain running ultra guy instead of just a road runner). The selection of shoes and products that HOKA offers now fits the needs and dreams of all runners, at any level.... #AnySurfaceAnyDistance ! #FlyHumanFly . So honored to be invovled with this brand for over a decade now...and thanks to the innovation, dreaming and hardwork of Nico and Jean Luc and so many others 🙌🏔🏃🏻♂!
Grew up on Adidas and Nikes as a kid, but my first pair of shoes that got me truly into running and to where I now consider myself a "runner", were Hokas. Hearing from the founders has given me an even deeper appreciate for the brand!
Incredible and inspiring story! Two friends that never listened to the people that said it was "a stupid idea". The world of running has never been the same since. Fly Human Fly! Running in HOKA since 2012. Proud to be a #HOKAFlyer
Way to go Heather. You're the real deal - no doubt to the stellar mentoring by two couch teddy bears. I am sure Waddie contributed a little too. Love your spirit-filled journey.
