I create music arrangements for standard and unique ensembles, some of which may contain uncommon combinations of instruments. Other work includes providing supplemental parts and also transposing parts into different keys. In addition, choral and vocal works sometimes need to undergo alterations to suit the range of singers’ voices.
I use both Sibelius and Dorico music notation software. It is very satisfying to provide such a useful service and I take an enormous amount of pride in the appearance and accuracy of my work. The default settings of the software are carefully adjusted to make the music look as authentic and readable as possible. Page-turns are of paramount concern to me!
Under certain conditions, unique arrangements are required in order to suit either specific ensembles or program. I enjoy the challenges of these adaptions.
Are my arrangements for sale? Yes! Please see my contact information below. I will be happy to discuss sales and new music projects with you.
Thank you so much for this arrangement Glynn! We performed this work several times at our Christmas Concerts this past year, and it was very well received. We appreciate all your hard work on it and look forward to working together again in 2024!
Hi Glynn, thanks so much for putting Peter’s scores up! There must be hundreds more and it’s wonderful to hear them again. Don’t think I’ve heard this one since the 1993 premiere(!!)
Hi @user-hv5fu4ij4w thanks for writing. These are not "cheap" arrangements, they are very high quality. I spend an enormous amount of effort and many hours to make all of my arrangements sound as best as they can, whilst working from the original scores. When I design the layout of the parts I am dedicated to presenting them in a high quality that would be suitable for publication. With this in mind, I do not believe I am overcharging for the cost of the score or parts. The price matches the quality of the parts and the time and effort put into creating the arrangement.
@@kicheador Click on my photo, just underneath the score here. This will take you to the main page. There are a few sections called Home, Videos, etc. The last one is called About. Click on that, and if you scroll down, you will see a link to my email address.
That's a great arrangament! The intro is Majestic ofc (the new muse sounds are awesome as well): as a cellist that flam (G to B) Is kinda fast lol (that's the program sound tho): maybe you could slow It a bit down with G 16th note and the B dotted 8th
Thank you for your encouragement! And I totally agree, it's difficult to get a computer to play music like a human! I could of course throw some hidden tempo marks in there, but I'd rather people make it better by purchasing the arrangements and playing them out in the real world on real instruments :) The synthetic sounds do give you a pretty good suggestion of what to expect though.
