I think its great that she didn't hate nor love the song. I am sure it will grow on her like I usually experience this. But the reason why I think is great is because when she sees their rest of their discography and everything that they do, I have a feeling she will feel like it's a treasure hunt. She seems intrigued already! And curious to hear more.
@@wolfnoire yes the video was fast paced. But without watching the video in audio like this album was amazing for me! Crazy Form has some Hispanic zest if that makes sense so I liked it off the bat. For me guerrilla was the one I needed to let seep in 😅😄
@@brendac.6567 ah see it also depends on our background before entering kpop maybe? Cause I came from goth industrial music before Ateez and Guerrilla was still one of my love at first sight moment. Ateez is kinda magical tho, I had the same ‘hold on’ moment on Déjà Vu and then after second listening it just clicked.
@@wolfnoire That's so cool, I wonder what music background could I fit in and maybe it is I don't know. I know I listened to a lot diverse music, not just Hispanic. If I were to talk about all the music I like people would be like you're all over the place. To be honest Ateez plays with sounds I used to hate before but they make it work so I like it when they do it. I remember with guerrilla I was like this is an interesting beginning, and then it was like pretty before the chorus and then I was like this took a turn. Reminded me of a Japanese rock band I used to listen they incorporated screamo in it. But it had been more than a decade the sudden loudness was like my brain malfunctioned. Then I was like ok, actually this is good so creative. 😂😂😂😂 I am reminiscing about it as I type and I am dying.
@@brendac.6567 that’s the sentence we should promote, they just make it work! I don’t know how to say it, I’m not one to blindly love a song because I love a group but all their songs just works for me. All their discography is a no skip for me. Also since they’re so diverse I have like different playlist for different moods :) energy for walking around town, going to classes, summer vibes, mellow vibes (insert a lot of JongHo solo here haha)

@@sydthesquid186 you totally shud gurl. practise makes perfect. i am in the performing arts myself. i am a performimg singer. dancing is much harder tho so i dsy go for it love
This is not actually kpop as you could tell from the MV. His entire album, Golden is in English. Seven is the fastest song to cross 1b streams in spotify history surpassing Flowers by Miley Cyrus. Also a heads up, the MV for main track "Standing Next to you" is dropping in around 5 hours from now
@sydthesquid186 u should react to their final performance from street woman fighter or their battle crew mission or hwasa chilli challenge and even their mega crew performance
did you watch Jihyo's 'killin me good'? she did dance practice with that and 'closer', both are good. for dance centric, 'kura kura', 'better', 'perfect world' also fun. (normally, their japanese release usually got block because of warner's copyright but not so sure after contract renew because some japanese song have in setlist out of japan) anyway, have a good day. :)
I have heard Jihyo’s killing me good but not seen the MV. I’ll definitely put it on my list. OMG LOVE PERFECT WORLD, I’ve been wanting to do a dance cover for it lately

Interesting facts they just met when the show started so besides ling Kirsten and Emma they never knew each other and the created amazing dances also they danced with jungkook also I think if you enjoyed this you should look into more thank for reacting and have a good day😊
I just found you and loved your reaction! I couldn't tell if you had the captions on, so you could read the lyrics, if not you might want to re-watch, and read the lyrics, I think you will love the song even more! She actually didn't write this song, and it's the first song she ever recorded that she didn't write. The reason she chose to is as she arrived in New York (for the first show of Mamamoo's US leg of their World Tour), she was getting alot of messages on KaKao (a chat app) and when she read them she found out she was being investigated by the police because of an "inappropriate" dance move she did during a festival at a college (while she was taping Dance Queens on the Road, they cut the move out of the show), but what really made her so upset was all of the horrid hate comments from the netizens (as always), worse then any she had ever received before, and that means something. She broke down crying after the New York show, and while in the parking lot of the hotel, Psy (from PNation) sent her "I Love My Body", and it made her smile. She said it was the only thing that had made her smile. It was also the catalyst for her finally decided to sign with P Nation. Oh and btw, during that same festival, there were male students being brought up on stage and grinding on the stage, like they were having sex, but apparently that was ok. *smh As always, only Hwa Sa was gone after by the parent council who went to the police. It's pure garbage, and I found out later from a news article that the women who put the complaint in, wasn't even at the festival, and didn't have a student going to the college. She just saw a few second clip, and decided it was inappropriate, and called the police. The reason the police car is in the MV is her way of say F U to the woman, and the whole situation, and after being called into the police station and interrogated for 3 hours, they dropped the charges. Also as you mentioned, she has "a little booty", but yes, she has an hour glass shape, with hips. At they beginning she was actually told by companies that she was sang beautifully, but she was fat, and ugly. So they would turn her away. She was told she was too dark skinned, that she was too fat, and her eyes weren't round enough. It's just disgusting. Even after she was at her first company, it continued. besides all of the hate she constantly got, and netizens actually put in a petition to have her kicked out of the group. But in one of the pre-debut MVs, they made her wear sunglasses to cover her eyes, and they white washed her to make her lighter :( I don't know if it was because her company was pressured, or what, but thankfully they didn't do it in their actual debut MV. She is so strong to keep dealing with so much hate, and to stay as strong as she does. That's why her music means so much, because she writes about her life. But I loved that she did this song, and even though it had a great message, it had a fun, different sound. So she can prove she can do even more types of music. (because as Mamamoo, they covered A LOT of genres)
Hi thanks for your comment. We didn’t mean “a little booty” in the literal sense. My friend is American and uses American slang. I love your comment because I’m a Hwa Sa fan but I try not to dig too much into kpop controversy because it starts to take the fun out of a lot of things. It makes me sad how males are not held to the same standard but what can we do? She is so beautiful and I wish I had gone to the Mamamoo tour to show my support.
Oh, I understood the way your friend was saying it, I'm from America too. :) The reason I was explaining some of what has happened to Hwa Sa is because to understand her songs, you need a little context. Especially for "Maria", "LMM", and "Twit". But I can understand how you feel, we all enjoy music in our own ways! <3 I hope you continue to react to Hwa Sa and Mamamoo in the future! @@sydthesquid186
She's not ''pretty'' according to korean beauty standars, because she's tan and isn't thin like they would want her to be. She herself said ''If I don't fit the beauty standards, I'll set my own standards''
