Doesn’t work? no commands are working? going straight to log in screen no matter what? Do this. Turn off Mac. Turn on and hold power button. System Menu pops up select Settings. Go to Utility Disk. Erase Systems Disk/Systems Folder (the first one not the sub folders) Do not rename keep name and format AFTP whatever. Something will pop up want to erase Mac completely all will be lost. Click yes. Restart Mac? Yes. Upon restart choose reinstall Ventura, follow instructions blah blah blah
I took apart my screen i didn't notice the string. Destroyed the basicscreen i took out. Wish i had seen this before i did it. Thankfully the hd screen is a lot more flexible so got it done second time around.
Is it also possible for the non-touch version of the Dell 9370 laptop? what if i try to buy the touch screen version of the screen installed, will it work?
I keep getting told that the entire laptop has to be taken apart to reattach the hinge to the lid. I understand needing to replace the back panel of the lid because the attachment point is gone, but the hinge is still in good working order. I assume this is just want of a more expensive repair.

dont i have the same problem almost broke my screen too. its a fancy laptop with a lot of functionality but build quality is very poor and replacements are very expensive. just the screen costs almost half as much as the laptops price f u break it
@swagboltey102 buying a 2 in 1 is a stupid idea i myself fell victim to. It is not a replacement for a tablet or an ipad. If u want my gen1 opinion go for a macbook air and a cheap ipad this setup would cost u almost the same and is much better. Plus u get 2 devices instead of one. If thats a bit out of ur budget then just forget abt 2 in 1 cuz the only good ones worth buying are top of the line dell xps, hp spectre and windows surface book which are very expensive. Even those come with their fare share of problems and repairs are very difficult and expensive. Honestly best option is to go for ipad macbook combo. Also if the apple pencil is expensive for u, there are cheaper alternatives for that too which practically give u the same experience unless u are an artist or smth.
Hi! Tanks for the nice video! I tok apart a 9370 screen, but it did not have the small wires to pull on. It had tabs connected to the dubble sided tape inside. They where easy to rip off, but I did get the screen out anyway. I changed to a ned screen cable, but I did not get rid of my problem. My problem is that a part of the screen is flickering, showing a darker part, and I can se that the picture is still there kind of, when I restart the computer. Its like the screen is part broken... It is the 4K screen, so it is expensive to replace.
