I met Mr George out at the pool at a hotel outside San Diego. We were the only 2 there & he sat with me and visited for about 30 minutes. This was in the late 80's. It was quite an experience for me. Very friendly guy...
the bartender was in the twilight zone episode ''will the real martian please stand up'', he was in theCOLUMBO episode ''suitable for framing''. and most likely a lot of other things.
I met George Kennedy in Buenos Aires, on November, 1979. I was at high school and I went specially to talk with him, which I did. He was happy to talk with someone about his old movies. He was a huge wardrobe in front of me and I cannot believe that James Arness was taller than him. He seems to be short when the camera tokk them from profile. jcf.
Cool! I have always been a fan of George Kennedy. James Arness too. Both huge men and, from what I understand, very nice men too. Tough choice for Kitty. Lol.
@@GuyjKiteThanks, I knew he looked familiar. Was it an episode where his character had a third eye in his forehead? Don't know why but that sounds right to me. Buy I could be wrong.
@@thesixshooter6506 yes that is correct. Also he had a bit part on the Andy Griffith show. He played a bad guy. Barney was righting him a ticket .state police showed up. He tried to run and got tangled up with Barney. He was captured and said I'm gonna get you deputy.
I can't remember. But, after watching this, I don't like his chances. You don't tug on Superman's cape, you don't spit into the wind, you don't pull the mask off the 'ol' Lone Ranger, and you don't mess around with Kitty. I think that was in a song once.
Such great dancers they may be gone but not forgotten they brought laughter for generations here we are laughing hysterically the howards and fine family would be proud and laughing no one close to the 3 stooges your legacy of laughter still continues on you made my weekend keep the laughs coming appreciate you guys ! Acelas pass by Mansfield at 150mph, Northeast Regionals (the last train that's not a Acela that is a Northeast Regional with a ACS64 pulling amfleets) go 125-135mph then freights are 10mph-40mph
joe a friend of mine took a picture of me sixty years ago sitting on one of the ledges you panned past on the summit and, except for my not being in the picture, the ledge and the country still looks almost exactly as it looked then. That is comforting. p.s. It wasn't the cow I was sitting on, it was looking at the ridge to the northwest. When I was young I climbed that mountain well over a hundred times. Couldn't get enough of it. Thanks for this reminiscent video.
Thanks for the nice comments. I am a light hiker and found this mountain especially tough and potentially dangerous at the peak. But I'm glad o did it anyway.
