Hey, Vincent. I know it's been a while. I've just come across this short, but wholesome piece of art. At first I was like, what's this about? But after watching it over and over..damn it's just awesome, simply put. I'm inspired.
sorry, I didn't like it. It was confusing. I think the last part was the most important of all, the most significant part, and it didn't guided me to undertand it. Since it was inspired by Lynch's style, I think there must have been some better cues to get the round idea. I had to read the comments to get a better understanding. Technically it was amazing tho. Hope you can make more short films.
I see grief in his eyes and he sees potential in his hands, the director brilliantly let us off on a cliffhanger, now the story is ours. Whether we go after the potential we see in us Or remain stuck with grief of the lost greatness of the past, it's our choice, we get to choose whether it's the beginning or the end.
This is very clever, the idea of mastering the art of rolling a joint lmao! from the cutting of leaves (grinding) to observing the rolling paper, and ofc the bowl as an ash tray. He finds his passion while high. Takes the phrase “cooked” to another level is chefs kiss 💀 Also could be when you’re high, starving, and all of sudden you become good at cooking and the food hits different😭 don’t ask me how I know this
