While I agree that Jirai kei looks best with platforms, I've found that most black sneakers look fine as long as you pair them with frilly socks. I wear mostly jirai kei at work and have to wear comfortable shoes I can walk in / stand in for 8+ hours so sneakers are my go to. I've had no problem making a coord look good with them. it's all about the styling.
i agree!! styling does make the difference and even liz lisa has sneakers i think! and with the rise of subcul new rocks and buffallos are getting really popular too~

I love to wear purple in Jirai. Even though I wear a lot of pink and black, I like the color contrast of purple and black together. I own a DMLWhip dress that's in purple and it looks amazing on me.

love this video! ive always been super into the look of jfashion but never got around to trying it myself. right now im super into the look of jirai kei but i dont know where to start when it comes to actually wearing it >< i'd love a video about how to start a jirai kei wardrobe. the basics, different brand options, etc. mainly because some brands can be really expensive or, as you were saying in your video, some brands are overrated. i just dont know what i should be looking out for. a loose guide from someone who's been in the scene for a long time would really help me out🤍

i thought tattooes and piercings were knowingly and openly agreed to be a great addition to j-fashion, i dont have either but i admire it when i see it i also agree lilac is my fav colour and its not the most popular colour but i dig into any item i can find because i love it i strongly agree with all your points!

I don’t like the direction LizLisa is going in. It’s turning into more worky/professional smart than it’s original peach soft cute girl. I prefer the more peachy warmer toned pinks and browns. The florals and the more himegyaru style. It’s now too blingy, like pretty rich girl. It’s still cute but not what my style is >.<
I really do miss Liz Lisa’s old clothing. But I don’t think they’re ever gonna go back tho because they are fast fashion and go towards the latest trends. Same thing with Ank Rouge.

I agree with everything except the Demonia thing. They come in so many styles and colors I think they have their place with certain coords. Of course it’s also needs to follow the same way as anything else, you have to make it look like it was purposefully added to your look. If it was thrown in as an after thought and doesn’t fit the rest of your outfits vibe, it’s gonna look off. My unpopular opinion is I love cat/animal ears in jfashion but same as Demonia shoes, you gotta make it a part of your coord to look good. If you put them on just because it’s gonna look bad.
I agree w the fact that jirai and ryosangata needa to be more experimental. My friend says i always wear the same things so i took a challenge upon myself to make my jirai outfits more creative :3
