We have this unit. We definitely love it. The 12 volt fridge seems to work great but the standard battery hardly has enough power to last a night just supplying power to the fridge. The unit has 400 watts of solar power which works well. The battery level can be 100 percent at 9 in the evening yet is less than than 1/3 by 6 in the morning.
The Aurora is a coachmen product. While that is a part of Forest River, they have their own design team. Normally, you would not need the water pump on when you are on city water, but you may want to check with Coachmen directly for troubleshooting.
@@ForestRiverMotorized you could do it if you wanted to. This is the floorplan I want. I would just have to have you leave the dinette completely out then and add it myself
If I want to sanitize my unit I would follow all these steps minus bypassing the water heater since I would want to sanitize it? Or does bleach interact with the anode rod? My previous unit had a sanitize setting and no anode rod.
If it is diluted enough, you should be fine. The main issue is a tank water heater, that does not always drain 100%...just make sure you flush it really well to get all residual out.
Contact Firefly direct at fireflyint.com, they have tech support on line or reach out to our service dept at 574 206 7600. Hit 0 and ask for service. Either should be able to help.
what if the slide is already in, the instructions you’re giving seem to me like you’re giving it as though the slide is out I’ve got seven red and one green flashing on my 2022FR 30 DS the vehicle showed no error codes and was parked for two days and I noticed the error code when I walked back in the vehicle, there was no problem pulling the slide in two days prior
Same instructions apply. If it is already IN, then press the motors and IN, set the IN stop (even thought it does not move). IN stop must always be set first, regardless of slide position.
@@ForestRiverMotorized if I set the in and the error codes go away do I need to go ahead and set the out as well? I’m in a lot where I can’t pull this slide out.
Before you even set the stops, sometimes you can just hit the "clear faults" button and it will clear them (most issues are caused by low voltage during operation). Once you clear them using the reset procedure, you have to finish the entire process. If you can't run them out now, you can just redo the instructions when you get more room.
Unfortunately, we are no longer building the 36B5. It has been replaced by the 36F5. Please look on the Forest River website for the floorplan and features. There are some 36B5's in dealer inventory.
As the manufacturer, we only set MSRP. Sales price or discounts are handed at the dealer level. Dealer locator can be found here...forestriverinc.com/rvs/dealer-locator/berkshire
Hello Forest River... not sure if this video is monitored for questions. My wife and I love this unit. We saw it recently at the West Palm Beach RTV show. We prefer to have the stove top/regular oven combo, and simply place the micro on the counter when needed. This way we have a true, stand alone oven; like you find in most motorhomes. Do you know if this current set up can be swapped out for a stove top/true oven combo (like from Furrion, Master Chef, etc)? Is the countertop cutout done in a way where we can remove the existing and pop in the combo appliance? Thanks in advance.
Hello, I have a problem with the water pump. I switched from city water to fresh water. After filling the fresh tank, I'm not getting the pump to start. I'm needing some guidance.
There are quite a few differences. It is on a 22,000 lb chassis with 22.5" wheels rather than a 20,500 lb. chassis and 19.5" wheels. It has a fiberglass rear cap, a 2,000 watt inverter, two lithium batteries are standard. Solid surface kitchen counter tops, soft touch ceiling, powered driver cockpit chair. It also has a 1-piece fiberglass shower and an option for a stackable washer & dryer rather than a combo washer/dryer. The cabinetry is solid hardwood doors like the FR3 but it also has solid hardwood cabinet frames rather than wrapped frames.
You model may not be equipped....but to be sure you can find you model in the online manuals and it will show service locations. For exmaple....forestriverinc.help/#/forestriverrv/guide/2024/3240-georgetown/browse/brand-specific/publication/publication-16-en_us-multiple-1046006
Omgggg so many unanswered questions .. should have stuck with the old school where you just add a little antifreeze to the drains and go on. Day 2 and I'm frozen again. I am to the part where you add the antifreeze. It says to turn on the water pump and then say it has to be primed in order to pull it through .. does just turning it on do that? Because i did, then started turning the kitchen sink faucet on and it is spitting quite a bit of water but no antifreeze is being pulled from the bottle. I dont want to burn up the pump??
Primed means you have water in the lines. If the pump is close by (as in you can see it), then make sure the valve is turned the right way. It should be in-line with the pump, which means open.
I emptied the low (red) waterline (which was a real pain to get open) - you didn't mention the blue?? I called the dealer service for another question and they told me I had to do both ... Then i went on to the other steps. The white-ish one you show in the video? I turned all 4 the way the video shows and water was coming out .. but no antifreeze was being pulled out.
@@ForestRiverMotorized yes, all were drained .. I followed the video, and you opened the red but you didnt mention the blue - i went ahead and did it because Service said to. I did the hot water heater, inserted the hose and went in and turned the pump on, turned the kitchen faucet on and some water came out and then just started spitting out but the antifreeze wasnt being pulled into the hose ?? Help!!
It looks like it is just pulling from the water fresh tank maybe? You need to make sure the valve at the winterizing take up tube is properly set. There is a 3 way valve where the take up tube ties into the water lines. The valve should point to the take up tube line.
Thank you for the video. I am disappointed with the opposing couches. I feel it is a waste of space and I apologize for my harsh feeling. I say this because we need more office style pull out table with chairs. I have been baffled with some coaches that have 3 couches... what a crime. Where is the creativity with flooplans? Thank you and I feel strongly about utilizing 100 percent of a motorcoaches' space.
Unfortunately, we can't build for every scenario. We have seen LOTS of people, take a sofa out and customize things to their specific style or use. A while back we optioned a free standing table and chairs and no one took the option, so we removed it where it was not being utilized.
Nice video however one major step may have been missed: Our 2020 GT5 has an "external shower" in the wet bay and the video did not mention opening the outside shower hot and cold to get antifreeze through that part of the water system. There also are check valves in the fresh tank fill fitting, the black tank flush fitting, and the city water fitting. If air pressure is not used to try and force any water in those lines out there is a possibility that damage could result, especially to the black tank anti-siphon fitting and that thing usually is buried somewhere. It takes almost 7 gallons of RV antifreeze to do our GT5 34H5.
