I became an “alcoholic” since the algorithm is suggesting this shit now!... when my dad passed 🤷🏽♂️ 10 shots of fireball(it’s what the old lady likes! I don’t care as long as it works a little!) a night seems like a very moderate alcoholic though...
Anger is a raw emotion, we all experience it. I use to internalize it badly. That meditation book called 30 Days to Overcome Anger by Harper Daniels was helpful.
Well the bathrooms were next to the bar. It was the guests sitting at the bar who cheered. I think they were giving a dad props for changing their baby’s diaper.
Yeah, and if she jacked up the car and changed the tires SHE'd get applause. Some things are just a given and others deserve a little more recognition.
Really interesting to listen to you both, will be looking back at your earlier videos Drakes mum got a lot of backlash that she didn’t notice what was going on but I appreciate you talking about how she was groomed as well, drake talks about how Brian told her not to let drake spend time with his girlfriend because they were sneaking off to have s*x and knowing his mum being quite religious wouldn’t have approved that, offering to pick drake up to help her out Drake did an interview with Yordi Rosado (on RU-vid) and luminosity (wherever you get your podcasts) both of these go into more detail including the impact the letters have had on drake and how the abuse has had a lasting impact on his life. And the man enough podcast (RU-vid) looks into accountability for his actions Obviously drake has made some bad mistakes but it seems like he is finally working through the trauma that has been a catalyst for how he views himself & choices he has made as an adult. I totally get the remorse thing too, drake has kept this secret from the public for over 20 years, this was a very public way of sharing his story. He talks about being in the fire right now, he’s not only still dealing with his SA trauma but the letters which were new to him. 1 thing to take away is the importance of therapy for such trauma, although I know that that’s not going to work if the person doesn’t want to talk about it
Thanks for listening! I’ll have to check out those other interviews with Drake. It’s a powerful story. Totally agree therapy is crucial for healing with SA but when the person is ready. Hope you continue to watch our stuff! Thanks for letting us know your reaction to the show!!!
I don’t like either terms. I spoke to a peer who’s Italian and I was told that Latino was used as a derogatory term for italianos. Since then I refuse to use the term I am an American Mexican I don’t even like the term Hispanic, but there is no box
I’ve never heard a Latino person call themselves latinx. And I feel like most Latinos wouldn’t like to get called that. So where is this man getting his information from?
The polls are in - most people want to be called Hispanic, are sick of the lgbt, and don’t know where the hell the term Latinx came from and don’t use it
The same way blacks are bleaching their skin and no longer want to be considered black. It is not that they hate being black but they hate the baggage that comes with the label.
This ain't no lie I was in a common thread describing like a heritage thing and it was on a video having to do with indigenous rights, I was trying to talk about my mother's lineage who she is half Mexican and half white, I said she was half Latino and boy did I get it in the comments about how that was a racist and derogatory term. When I went into discuss that I went to a school in my city that was primarily Latino and that they all went by Latino like that's what I grew up hearing as an acceptable term because I was taught that saying like Hispanic was too generalized and racist and that Latino was essentially the new term because it Incorporated all the different heritages in Mexico and South America, essentially if you didn't know what they were you needed to say they were Latino to be respectful.
Wtf is even Latinx sounds like another alphabet movement to which is embarrassing to my TRUE MEXICAN culture with this sensitive bs as a Mexican we are stronger n better than this shit n everyone born in US at this point are latin American so might as well start calling yourselves Americans n cut the BS
