A bit informal as far as startup tutorials go. (lol) It may be time to record and post a newer updated version with more precision and explanations. No need to rush through it; take your time and thoroughly explain. Note: Kind of surprised that the clock is a mechanical windup type.
Not until you pull the throttle lever in to flight idle, (locked in to governor position) the gazelle like some other helis has a clutch to remove the main rotor and fennestron load from the turbine while it starts up and reaches ground idle.
Why did the start light not go out after the start sequence? Should go out when stable at 25000 shouldn't it? Or have all the Gazelle's I've flown been messing me around?
has'nt anyone noticed the right seatbelt was left out the right back door which could put the helicopter on a great risk and why would'nt the pilot turn on the landing light ?
You are funny, why would it turn the helicopter to a great risk? There are no risks with the seatbelt hanging out of the door. You could even open the door inflight, or even hang something on it. And why should he put on the landing lights in that very situation and condition?
