When I use mine, the arm begins vibrating like crazy, and skips even once calibrated correctly, the plastic beneath the disc also is very wobbly, is there anything I can do to fix this?
We are extremely sorry to hear that. For detailed after-sales solutions, you can contact our after-sales email at support@angelshorn.com by attaching your order number. We will provide you with a comprehensive solution.
They deserve a completely terrible speaker setup, with speakers pushed against the back wall, robbing them of the space they require to produce any semblance of soundstage and creating boomy bass whilst being set back on a bench top leading to first reflection point being the bench top and a diffuse and poorly controlled stereo image? I don’t understand what music lovers did do deserve that.
Good review...those speakers seem pretty good, haven't heard them ( but the driver selection was good and sensible with a decent cabinet) , Everyone that has reviewed them has said the same. The table does what it's supposed to do...kinda like my Philips 212 ( without the finicky auto stop mechanism) and a DC motor so the belt doesn't need to be moved either. Nice tone arm that won't fall apart. Hopefully the small amplifier has enough interal protection to not not self destruct and it will get a teen through college for instance. Add a inexpensive sub with a high level input for another $100 and it'll be fine for a smaller room, Don't expect more than 500 hours and that will be stretching it too long with a conical stylus with it's smaller contact surface (300 -400 hours would be much better, an album a day on average, about once a year). Also 1.75 grams is too low also for this cartridge. Mistracking do to to little vertical tracking force is not good either. Yes it's recommended range is 2.5 - 3.5 grams. Given the medium mass of the tone arm 3.0 grams tracking force will be a sweet spot. At this force don't use a worn stylus keeping it fresh is necessary especially a conical and this one is inexpensive one album with cost more . Don't forget to get a good record cleaning brush either and make sure you use it.( every time is a best habit). A stylus brush is also needed afer a few albums are played too.
Book shelf speakers, Bluetooth, internal pre amp , are not audiophile features. Too many really cheap poorly constructed chinese manufactured turntables have come on to the market in the last few years, pretending to be something decent, when in the real world they aren't.
Built in speakers lmao who tf is this for? Advertising a high end turntable with built in speakers?? You realize that absolutely no one who actually cares about music quality uses built in speakers right? This renders half the features of this embarrassing looking “turntable” completely irrelevant. Garbage Chinese built product. Also your logo sucks
I came to know that Angels Horn is going to distribution a huge number of money in people through some reliable social worker. I am a very simple and educated man. From my childhood, I wanted to helping the poor, sick and needy people but I couldn't full fill it because I am also poor. If you have any scope for me, please give me a chance to serving the poor people.
Stopped working after less than a couple hours troubleshoot everything called customer support have to Rebox it send it back and wait a month for my refund. A complete waste of my time what a crappy product.😢
Wait. What's the point of balancing the tone arm and then moving the counterweight forward on the tonearm? Wouldn't that change the balance? Shouldn't you move the weight all the way into it's final position first? Then you would balance the tonearm so it hovers parallel to the plstter, set the zero setting on the counterweight, and then dial in the final tracking weight.
Yes, as you can see. We start by naturally balancing the tonearm. Then reset the counterweight reading dial to zero (keep the care position still), and then rotate the counterweight forward toward the stylus to increase the counterweight to the recommended 3.5g. (Thank you very much for your question)
I’m experiencing the same problem. The weight seems to become too heavy which I think causes the arm to vibrate making the sound all gargled. Did the same thing happen to you?
I saw your comment about turning just the unit dial at the end step instead of turning the entire dial (although the comment has disappeared?), I just tried that but it seems to make it worse (tracks skip and music is frazzled completely). 🤔
Hi dear friend, Thanks for your message, and we apologize for the inconvenience caused to you, Would you pls send us original order number for the turntable to our service email: support@angelshorn.com Please send us your shipping address and we will send the counterweight to you immediately. Looking forward to your support and reply Have a blessed day. best regards ANGELS HORN SupportTeam
can you explain more how to balance the tone arm, i don’t understand what it’s supposed to look like when it’s balanced and i don’t understand how to set it up, my records keep skipping
Hi friend, Sorry for confusing you, When you balance the tonearm, then find 0, then set it to 3.5g. That's it. Please do not continue to rotate the counterweight, as that will increase the counterweight force. You can also refer to another video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RMfAOa1DCmk.html I replied to your email, please check. Thanks!
Can you please give more detail on how to balance the tone arm? The instruction manual doesn't give clear instructions and this video skims over it rapidly. When I do as this video says turning the weight to 3.5 results in it being turned until it can not be turned any tighter. That's 3.5 when I balance according to both the video and manuals instructions. Is that correct?

The same thing is happening to me. When I do this i get a lot of vibrations on the arm and the music sounds very gargled and fluttery. Did you have the same problem?
Did you ever figure it out? The video says to set it to 0g but they stop at 3. And then it says to turn to 3.5 so I’m a little confused on how much I should be turning it
