Hi! I'm Iris, the designer behind & the design. With this channel, I want to show more behind the scenes and process of my designs. From poster designs, to branding, to finding inspiration, everything here is all about design.
iI love your design process. For me, I think the most difficult part is minimalism, but you do it perfectly in my opinion. And yeah i write this comment just to support you in some way. I rl enjoy your videos, cool vibes!!
hi! I actually have a guide to grids that also has some templates + a guide that shows how I make them, you can find it here: andthedesign.gumroad.com/l/a-quick-guide-to-grids
I really love your design style im an aspiring graphic designer also im trying to find my own unique style Thanks to your videos it really helped me this past few days
now, im at 0:48 seconds, and god damn was it a horrible idea to bake the subtitles into the video while at the same time using type to contextualize the action on screen. the subtitles compete dramatically with the context info and make the video basically impossible to follow
very nice artworks! i have discovered that i also enjoy the combination of an original drawing/illustration and a poster. I’d like to make prints of my work but I am stuck on choosing the right pixel size both for the artwork and the poster itself. can you please explain how do you choose the right size so you don’t loose the quality of an artwork in the process of creating a poster
it depends on the size you want to print. if it's A4 you can make your art board A4 as well. then export it as a pdf, with the print settings. that way, you won't lose quality :) what programme do you use to make your illustrations? perhaps you can also change some settings there to create a better final result
@@andthedesign in brand identity projects is food and beverage a good niche to focus on? like is the demand good? like i find myself to be really good at this niche .
I am definitely learning a lot from your process! Especially on your videos about grid! May I know the music the tile of the music that you're using here?
yes honestly, working without monitor is such a hassle. I feel that I'm short of eyes or something and everything gets mixed up. using a monitor would make it much more productive indeed
hi! I have these 2 resources for grids and used both of them for this video :) hope that helps! andthedesign.gumroad.com/l/a-quick-guide-to-grids andthedesign.gumroad.com/l/20-free-design-layouts
