I wish you could have elaborated on how that left caster fork got broken off the Super-S. But I can see where it might have been too painful to explain. 😂
Mr. Gerald, how about a video showing your daily and weekly maintenance on the mowers. Like how often you sharpen blades and oil changes etc. Thank you sir!!
I operate a solo lawn service on the weekends and today I had a similar experience. Basically an elderly gentleman who was a veteran had no way to mow his lawn, his mower was not working, and no money to pay anyone. He approached me while I was mowing the neighbors lawn and asked me to look at his mower, I did but could not fix it. I offered to mow his yard for free, which was a little over an acre, which I did and it about brought tears to his eyes. Your story inspired me to help this man, thank you sir.
Hey man how do you like hustlers? I’m looking at either getting an exmark lazer Z X series or a hustler hyperdrive for our personally property to maintain it. I’m just wanting something that is gonna last us a long time. Anything advice on the two mowers would be greatly appreciated.
I love my Hustlers. I have no experience with the Exmark, but people who use them seem to love them. I'd say which ever one has the best warranty & best dealer support, because new mowers break too lol.
I was told the VX has a little more vacuum and had less blowout from under the deck. It was supposedly designed more for northern lawns. I'd prefer a VX4 because you can get the sand kit for it.
@@cleangreenlawnservicellc2630They can work but sometimes its a struggle for me to find parts here. Their supply chains sometimes arent developed outside of china
Take it to the dealer 🤣. Seriously, that is what I do. It's probably not that hard to do, but I've never tried it. Might attempt it on one of them soon.
Heck if i just had that block that holds the blade bevel horizontal that would be a huge improvement for me. A flapper disk is far superior to any stone for sharpening in my opinion.
I have a love/hate relationship with the rain. We need it. I love it. It sucks when we dont have it. But too much of it also sucks. Just the gripes of us lawn care guys
Hey buddy, how do you like the vx4 deck? We are looking at buying a new hyperdrive with the 38.5hp Kawasaki and just wanted to get your opinion on the cut quality. We live in South Carolina and want something that’s gonna cut clean on the first pass and not bog down. Thanks
I have the VX Deck, I wish I had the VX4, just so I could put the sand kit on it. Our soil is rough on decks. It has a good cut quality. You will not be disappointed with the power of the FX1000. I have the carbureted model (35hp) and it is a beast. Now, if you mow a lot of Bahia, I haven't run anything that gets it all in the first pass........
Buddy of mine is a member at a church that has a couple of these. Local dealer "professionally services" the motor, but not the hydros of belts. This year both units started acting up with cracked mounts and failed clutches and blade and spindle issues. This summer they have both spent most of their time sitting at the dealer awaiting parts. Being residential models, the hydros are not very serviceable. I own an old 2010 Fastrak 36" Hustler. Very stout by comparison to the Raptors SDs. NO frame or mount issues. Uses 3100 ZT hydro drives. Easily serviced and rebuilt! It is a commercial model, even though it is only a 36" cut. That same church owned this one too, but it was the unwanted little brother to the bigger Raptors. So it sat unused for many years. Battery sulfated from sitting so much! It's right side hydro was getting weak and making screaming noises. Dealer wanted over $2k to change out that hydro. They balked and sold it to me instead for $900. I put about $200 into repair parts, oil and new filters. Works like new again! Had many zerk fittings too. Loved that when i saw it. I cringed when I saw no one had changed the hydro filters and oil in 14 years! It only had 150 hours, but still... That old oil poured out like water. I'm an old trained Navy mechanic with hydraulic experience. I rebuild vice replace stuff. This was a great retirement project for me. Great info here! Thanks for your hard work on it!
Enjoyed the video I also had the key switch go out on my z. It fell apart, my dealer saw me bring it in and he handed me a new one for free. Apparently the switches are not made well. If you dont mind me asking, how many hours do you recommend between oil changes?
Thank you for the informational videos and also a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. I just bought my Super Z yesterday and its just a beast!! I'm just a home owner with four acres in south Louisiana but I wanted to buy a quality piece of equipment that will last. Thanks again, and God Bless.
Live along Sydney beaches for a decade and locals barely had time to enjoy them or desire. Lived and worked in London for a decade and a day tourist saw more of London than I had time to enjoy. Just because you live somewhere doesn’t mean you take or have the time to experience it. That fact it’s there it gets taken for granted
Not sure I’d want to live that close to the beach. It’s a place a I like to go and visit, but not that often 😂. My wife on the other hand might be jealous 😁.
man Brother don't think I want to play paintball but you got me Hey hope y'all have a wonderful and Blessed by the Lord trip I truly think y'all earned it ❤
