I have a blue VFR1200. I waited decades since my old 1984 VF1000F. I really love it - even today when it doesn't have all the electronics of newer bikes. It's the quickest bike I've owned (bought it new 10 years ago).
People who criticize this bike for its weight and wheelbase seem to forget that this is not a racer. It's a touring missile with factory luggage engineered to handle speeds up to the factory limiter that can also do the "sport bike" thing on a twisty road. It will never be as nimble as a proper sport bike, but a proper sport bike will never feel as comfortable or stable blasting down the highway. 120mph on this bike going down the road is borderline boring because of how well it does it.

Absolutely beautiful! Loved the POV shots - was leaning with you through the turns ;) Also felt you were not aggressive enough, but yeah 1-2-1 gear is a bit choppy on our bike - Also: LOVED the soundtrack vibe for the video - wish we saw more on the VFR 1200f these days - super under appreciated bike - Last: like the shot of the wheels
In the 3'58" There is a driving error. You should never overtake a tractor that is walking in the middle of an urbanized area, with a speed that does not allow to stop at zero or perform a maneuver to avoid it. These tractors always enter and leave of local dirt roads, without looking at who is coming, many accidents occur Next time, you must go more slowly in these cases, with that motorcycle, any loss is recovered, it is a missile.
It was a rural area with grapes which i know very well, i did take it slow, the tractor had nowhere to go, as i looked for side roads and there was only the ditch on the left and no streets to turn left. The thing that concerned me was the left move he made, but it is due to their steering being very loose and difficult to keep straight. The speedo is in km/h, 62 is quite slow, i had to overtake as there was another 6-800meters until next road intersection. Thanks for the comment and for being careful!
There is the engine sound where it mattered the most which is during one of the timed laps, the rest of the video is static pictures and footage with ambient music from the audio speakers at the track, you would not want that poor quality over... Thanks for seeing and appreciating it!
I agree with long and heavy, but the torque is great. The breaks are good too. I have a blue 2012. Be carefull when shifting down to 1, if you have to much speed and high rews going in to the corner the 1 gear might lock up the backwheel temporarily due to the strong motor. It has happen to me and can make your heartbeat go up a little bit *LOL*
50+ minutes of VFR 1200 engine sound, at various rpms, on a chill ride with some friends, camera right above the tank (some light camera-case buzziness at 5k rpm)
