@@Fubar2 damn bro, it’s been a while. i don’t really remember. But to be honest, it took me 3-4 days to find the best settings for me. It took me maybe about 17-18 different rides to find the best result. Experiment with it.
@@ChristianPelletier-x4i don’t post too much of these stupid, idiotic, unessential comments, you might become more stupid than the day before! That way you’ll lead yourself in a vulnerable situation where people can see how unintelligent you are. They might even state the obvious like I just did right now. Get it? Or should you read it again?
@@MaskedGearhead Why are you so mad? I am stating facts here bub. You rev your MT 07 like its going to break, and I beat the ever living hell out of mine. You could have at least removed the DB killer. Can we at least agree on that? This little bike cracks me up when it pops under load. So much fun! I wish I went with the MT 09 SP to start with. This was a huge mistake. Especially now that Yamaha went automatic with the 2025 model. My next is the R9 next year. I will order the bike as soon as it releases. You will see markup on those when people realize about the MT 09.
@@ChristianPelletier-x4i it’s all about perception, fellow world citizen. It might seem to you that I’m revving it like it’s going to break WHILE I just posted a short about what I like about the mt07 + akra .. which is the little revs (little grunts). Why not just move on to another short and keep looking for one who revs it higher? Why did you have to “state” your LOGIC when it wasn’t even asked? Maybe I am revving it higher off camera. It all comes down to “WHO CARES”? Why did you have to make yourself visible by being sarcastically cynical? Next time, be nice, say something useful. Btw, the db killer was removed as soon as the exhaust got put on the bike. Never rode with the db killer in it. Another thing… nothing is a mistake. I got both bikes. The mt07 and mt09 sp. check my videos!
If you mean OEM handlebar risers then yes. You’ll have to drill some holes on the handlebar for the control units. If you do not want to, then just shave off the black pins on the inside of the thr control units. Just look up: protaper EVO carmichael.
ahh finally an stock exhaust vid.... btw Im bout to get into riding with an mt07 and I was wondering how realistic the sound are, like does wind sound totally cover up the engine sound or it sounds similar to the video
I think the wind doed muffle the sound a bit. I have a tenere now. To me, it sounds quiet and disgusting LOL, but other people compliment the stock tenere sound. So yeah, i think it’s the same for the mt07
Yes i read the description but i don’t know which diameter of protaper bar i need (7/8 or 1 1/8) for mt07 2024 pure you write only Protaper Handlebar (Woods High)
@@roco_kramberger then ask for the diameter specifically instead, my fellow rider. it is the 1 1/8. Is is the protaper “EVO” handlebar. All evo’s are 1 1/8.
Model: carmichael.
@@MaskedGearheadwow slim. Ferm gedaan man. Heb dezelfde bike als de jouwe :-) echt ferm stuurtje. Toch es kijken waar ik er kan vinden. Merci voor de info
Yes, it is lower and it has less sweep. So you actually have this more leaned forward type of aggressive riding position. That’s how you want to ride a mt09.
You clicking on my video, watching my video, your measly brain deciding to take a few seconds of your day to comment nothing but useless words on my video. Yeah, you’re the winner here. Applause to you, numbnut. 👏
Recently bought a 2023 mt07 with full Akra ti,qs,and tail tidy the one u have, also got barend mirrors on the way but my chain slack is 62mm (should be 51-56mm) due to the wear since its a new bike and DAMN i can hear that chain sound even on your video now,its haunting😂
No, what you are hearing is the chain itself. It might be too loose in this video. But in general, you’re always hear the chain because my microphone is placed on my lower back so it’s close to the chain. But tell me about your mt07… mt07 with the tft? And how is the oem QS?
@@MaskedGearhead yes the one with the tft, honestly i dont have much to tell since its my first bike and my first overall experience on a bike,i love it so far and the qs works...well works the way its supposed to work however i only have 40kms on the bike and i still need to break it in properly along with get used to the bike itself, the tft display doesnt look as pleasing to the eye as the previous models but its pretty good once u get used to it and its not even that big either,i bought the qs and akrap before riding it so the dealership assembled it for me so i dont know many details about the qs tbh i wasnt even told if the qs works only after certain rpms but im pretty sure it works whenever cuz i can clutchless shift at 2-3k rpm
@@MattzyWRF because i want to buy another mt07 as a project bike. But no way in hell Im buying the tft one. Im gonna buy the 2024 pure. I believe the only difference is the tft and the qs I guess
@@MaskedGearhead idk i didnt want the pure version simply cuz of qs eventho u can additionally get one set up i didnt wanna fuck around, however im pretty sure the 2024 prices are gonna be bad,at least from what im seeing here in Croatia the 2023 one is 1.5k euro more expensive than mine that i got 2months ago 2023 as well but i guess the prices went up since 2024
@@MattzyWRF yeah I just gotta get the pure as soon as possible because they’ll only be available this year. But is your qs like precise? Like is it smooth or jerky?
Im a little late but i couldnt help but notice,is that a slight sound of ur chain slack grind?you can barely hear it but i just bought a 2023 mt07 with akra and i have 40kms on it and my chain is SLACKING so the noise is very familiar LMAO
Hey, so first of all, these bars are not threaded. I used some amazon bar end mirror adapters that expand when you screw in. So to make it more clear, I used the original mt09 screws, the original mt09 bar end (weights, the black ones), and the aftermarket adapter inside the bar to make the bar end sit tight to the bar. Hope I helped. 👍
Wow from the rider's pov, to the engine sound, to the locations, everything's so mesmerizing... just watched this single video and already subscribed ❣
The bars sit a bit lower so you’re leaned more forward. Wider bars mean better leverage for counter steering. When absorbing a hit like a bump on the road or a pothole, the bars actually react better to these than the stock ones. The only (temporary) downside is, you might have to re-adapt to lane filtering if it is allowed where you live.
Hey man, does this bike feel much more stable than the MT07 on highway on windy days? I ride an MT07, but when it is a bit windy, that bike is all over the place. Specially since I am a small rider, the wind throws me all over. I am thinking if this is similar to the MT07, I might just be better off with a CB650R which is almost 30lb heavier than this bike, for the extra stability.
