This is the Bass Buddha channel. Bass Buddha is a high end bass shop in Denmark devoted to have the best gear for bass players. We have a showroom in Aarhus but ships worldwide. We try to make reviews of all the basses we get in so you guys can get better understanding of what the bass is about!
Enjoy :-) P.s if you have some advise on how we can do it better for you then don't hesitate to contact us at info@bassbuddha.com
Not exactly :-) First off the combustions are a part of the ready to play models that come out of Asia and then quality-controlled in Canada. Great basses but you can’t get those specced. I believe there are different options that varies from the different model of the Canadian made ones. They also got a different feel amongst the models but that said obviously all of the different models are a dream come true, so it’s up to the player on how far you go up the Dingwall ladder 😁
I was just looking for some reviews for vm4 and now I ended up transcribing Your solo. ❤ Your feel and choices... OMG You are amazing - thank You for this video, definitely getting this bass and I am about to extend my soloing vocabulary - BIG KUDOS!
I’ve got a Spector RST with a Paulownia body and the wood is surprisingly hard with a tight grain. I’ve had no dings or dents over 2 years of hard gigs and rehearsals.
If I'd have to stick to G&L, this would be my ideal bass! Exactly this model, same color, same body wood, 5 strings. Maybe I'd go for a rosewood board instead, that's just my preference, and it would match the color just as well. Amazing versatility out of just one pickup, so perfect blend of flexibility and simplicity. It's a bit sad that you have to go for a US model to get the Kiloton as a 5-string, the Tribute series is only available with 4 strings.
It's a sustaining drone note to lend context to the melody he's playing. A background drone note is also very helpful for learning good intonation on a fretless bass.
P Basses have no low end. They're just popular because you can cut any tone away and boost the low end into oblivion to make room for the "vocalist" in the mix
Dude seriously? John Taylor's tone always screamed metal. How you ask? Take his bass tone...add a little hint of Darkglass OD on the top and you have the perfect metal tone. His tone has such clarity and brilliance that overdrives love it.
Hi. I got a few questions. What is the weight of this 5 and the 4 string in your shop? I just got a new 5 string custom bass, so I am not ready to buy right this minute. What is the order time for these:?
Hey :-) I got two 5's in the shop one weighs 4.15Kg and the other one 4.45Kg. The 4- stringed weighs 3.85Kg. Normally about a year for a Ready To Play Model but Dingwall has been very inconsistent so really can't tell you with the JT3's as it is.
