Hi, I am trying to apply the create headwall trimesh Macro to my culvert design. For some reason downstream Headwall will not show. How can I resolve this? Thanks.
Thank you. Great design and delivery. FYI, I didn't click on this link to learn about the subject matter. I'm taking an online instructor certification training course through NetSpeed Learning for work and I wanted to find a good example of training delivered online. I'm glad I did.
Hi Muzamal, for commercial projects you're required to purchase 12d Model, however free training licences are available with Self-Paced Online Training (SPOT) courses through the Civil & Surveying Institute if you're interested to trial or upskill in 12d Model: www.civilandsurveying.com/civil-and-surveying-institute
Hi Hasanur. Yes, you can create an Excel file of the setout point data by typing a name for the file within the 'File name' field in the 'Tabulation' tab. The file will then be created when the panel is processed.
Hi, the degrees, minutes and seconds text is being created by the Super Alignment labels. If you're not getting these labels when placing the HIPs, ensure you change the 'Label style' to 'full' when setting up the Super Alignment properties. This occurs at 1:25 in this video.
Owen, great presentation mate. The 3.25mm limit commonly referred to as the high risk zone. I interpret this as the upper design limit, as a conservative design parameter so the inaccuracies of the equation allow for a target film depth of 4mm max. The consequences of saying 4mm is acceptable for a design parameter may mean your actual risks being greater than 4mm. I noticed your spreadsheet touched on it. Thoughts?
I don't think I, nor 12d Solutions, would want to take any responsibility for assigning risks to film depths. So they are parameters in 12d Model and you decide! 🙂
Hi Shayan, you can register for the 'Getting Started for Design' self-paced online 12d Model training course here: www.civilandsurveying.com/customerrequest/1/186 which comes with a trial licence for you to use during the course.
